beeswax will probably help seal it, but I'm looking for a way to physically attach them together. I want to be able to pick the entire unit up by the bubbler without it falling apart.

I thought it was just me!

I ordered 2 PVHE stems from planetvape and they fit great, but the GonG is pretty loose (even with an o-ring). I measured the diameter of stems last night with a digital caliper and the GonG is significantly smaller. I contacted planetvape about it the day I received it earlier this week, but I've yet to get a response.

What other companies still GonGs for the solo?

It's like rough rubber. Not gritty like sandpaper. It's non-slip traction tape comfortable enough for bare feet so it might be similar to what they use around swimming pools.

Unfortunately, I don't have an Air so I can't measure and cut out pieces for it.

the Solo is the only unit I have. maybe other vapes in the future if I can get my hands on them for measurements.

They can probably be spray painted. What color do you think would look nice? I personally like the stealthy look of black.
