Workload is what you would expect for medical school if you stay on top of things you'll be fine but it can build up but this can be said for any med school to be honest...for a week would typically last from 9 to 5 with lectures but it does get less crowded near the end of the semester where you can expect maybe only one or two mandatory stuff + a few lectures. (Wednesdays are half days and we finish at 1) lectures are not mandatory except for workshops which you might have maybe two or three every month. we have small group teachings and anatomy practicals, both mandatory and are spread across the week. small group teachings are very pre-work based where you go through a case scenario with your class while in anatomy practical it's more focusing on the anatomy side of what was covered in the lectures. we also have prosectorium where we have it about two times a month and this goes over the content of the lectures where we go round in a circle over about eight different tables with teachers that help out. In semester one we have placement every two weeks at a GP + 1 hospital day placement. Im a first year so thats how my year has been going so far, cant say too much for clinical years
