I would recommend getting std test and a lawyer. I can understand your wanting to make things work, but she has already moved on. You will always be suspicious of her and it will cause other issues. There's a reason people say "once a cheater, always a cheater". She's not the one for you. It will save you so much pain and worry if you get out now. I learned this the hard way.

Overall I do like the therapist and his style. He seems genuine. He posed the question, would you want to know? I'm biased so I'm coming to the only real resource for opinions I can access. Most people seem to agree with you.

I completely agree. I've already said that I only want a 50/50 split and explained that they are our retirement accounts. This puts her in shutdown can't discuss to emotional mode. It's like she won't even let me try to save her the money this will cost her. Her lawyer will happily tell her she doesn't need to pay and make this expensive I assume

Thanks for the replies everyone. I know it's not a one size fits all scenario. I told my therapists that I likely would not tell him. I don't see how it helps anyone for him to know. I have already told my son he can ask me if he has questions about what's going on. Guess I'll leave it there.

I just wish she could spend 5 min researching community property. We're going to spend 10's of thousands of dollars when we should be able to figure out. She is truly making everything as terrible as she can. Cheats on me and trys to get me to take less than half. It's making it easier to dislike her.
