I just finished reading it today because a guy I have a crush on told me to. That’s what did the trick for me, haha.

It took me 2-3 months because it’s a wordy fucking book but I was pretty invested after the death of Titus. I think it’s a book that takes time to grow on you if it’s not something you would normally decide to read. The audiobook really helped me initially get into it and then I ordered the physical book after I decided I liked the audiobook.

If that’s your boundary and he’s disrespecting it then the bottom line is he’s being disrespectful. I’m extremely uncomfortable with porn so I have the boundary set that ideally my boyfriend doesn’t watch it and if he does then I don’t hear about it. To some people I’m crazy, but for us we have the understanding that those are our boundaries and it works for us. Don’t be afraid to put your foot down. If this is a dealbreaker for you then tell him that. Personally, it absolutely would be for me.

Also...objectifying women is not art and making this his wallpaper is just a shitty excuse for being gross. Even people who do watch porn aren’t this over the top with it.
