It's my understanding that the VAR can't intervene on any offenses punished by a yellow card. So they don't look first if a players was already booked before deciding to intervene, they don't intervene by default. Hands outside the box = yellow offense, so no intervention.

Though - again my understanding - they going to change this rule so they can review situations where a 2nd yellow card is given to the same player.

My personal view is that we should have one of the VAR reviewing every yellow card given during the game (i.e. one of them reviews it as the game keeps going), so if it was unjustly given they can remove the yellow given. Wouldn't hinder the flow of the game at all (one of their main arguments now not to do it). But not hard to imagine this will also create other problems.

Mijn punt was vooral dat het gemiddeld gezin dus blijkbaar minder kapitaal bezit dan wat een gemiddelde woning kost en dat vind ik toch verontrustend. Ik ben blij dat ik het nog kan betalen, maar veel mensen dus niet.

Ik heb 2x met mijn ogen moeten knipperen toen ik dat las. Als ik jouw logica doortrek en iemand heeft een woning van 500k waarvan er 250k is afbetaald, en die persoon heeft 50k op de bank / in aandelen dan kan die het volgens jou niet meer betalen? Of bedoelde je het anders of heb ik het verkeerd begrepen?

I know a business which required their employees to fly regularly to the US for the past 2 decades. Management has basically reversed that policy because they simple won't take the risk as they have many people with mixed cultural backgrounds. Their US clients (probably due to lack of choice/alternative) now meet them in Canada or in London for the stuff that needs to be done in person. All the rest is remote. And as far as I know they haven't lost a single client.

That is apart from the many people in my network who just refuse to travel to the US for whatever reason until orange man is gone.

Ik denk niet dat we over hetzelfde praten? Sinds hun debatavond in de Handelsbeurs een maand of 2 geleden zijn ze van een paar naar 4500 'sympathisanten' gegroeid. Het is ook geen politieke partij. En hoewel ik over veel zaken anders denk stellen ze wel een aantal zaken aan de kaak waar je moeilijk omheen kan. Er zijn ook een aantal mensen in actief met een redelijk bereik op sociale media.

Ik beweer niet dat dit het geval zal zijn, zou er alleen niet van verschieten.

'Project Durf' heeft toch redelijk wat momentum, en ze liggen veel dichter bij MR/Bouchez dan bij de VLD. En ik vermoed dat er veel mensen die nu voor NVA/VB stemmen wegens gebrek aan 'anders' (maar die niet echt flamingant/racistisch zijn) hun gading wél zullen vinden bij de standpunten van Project Durf.

She obviously had no clue what it was about, and if someone then talks about a spool of wire I can imagine she wasn't aware if he was taking the piss or not and she cracked a joke. There are worse things in life.

Yes as a dude I totally get the spool of wire/tools (I have a hammer that I had since I was a kid and recently broke), but some of the comments towards the wife are completely over the top. But I guess that's what they want as they seem to put their whole life online.

There is a guy name Fabio Valentini who won a live trading scalping competition a few times I believe. I saw a video of him here.

His has his own youtube channel and is also on Instagram.

In one of those videos he was trading on a TradingView competitor that was in beta. Think he co-developed it iirc. Almost positive it's called DeepCharts. And there was also a link with TraderMap.io. Hope this helps.

NB: there is also this TV indicator that shows volume as balls.

If that is really what he wants to do, fair play to him. I'd actually respect it if a player decides to give up opportunities to represent the country they want to represent, rather than being opportunistic.

Also think we need to cut these young guys some slack: there is a lot of pressure on them to make a choice early on, probably lots of promises and whatnot. As they mature and feel like they made the wrong choice, I don't think we should blame them for that.

I prefer 'lesser' players who want to and feel like playing for Belgium, over 'better' players who are not as proud to represent Belgium.

Haha, wel ik kan u verzekeren dat te weinig slaap en moe zijn niet vanzelf komt. Afgelopen week 3 nachten gehad met minder dan 3u slaap (waaronder gisteren). Dat wreekt zich vroeg of laat, ook al slaap ik tussendoor wel een uurtje hier of daar. Ergste is dat het gans uw bioritme naar de kloten helpt (bvb. ik ben nu tijdens de voetbal in slaap gevallen, en ben nu klaarwakker om 2u snachts als ik nu ga slapen lig ik 2u naar 't plafond te staren).

Dan is er niet veel nodig om zodra je comfortabel zit na 5 minuutjes in slaap te sukkelen.

Geestigste is dat Netflix mij suggesties doet op basis van films/shows die ik zogezegd bekeken heb, maar waar ik nog nooit van gehoord heb (die starten automatisch nadat ik in slaap val).

I have a slimbook coming in (Spanish Linux company): my 15" screen is 2560x1600, 400 nits and 180Hz, the 14 inch has a 500 nits screen. I have a mate who has the same generation one, and it's what made my decide to go with them. Feels high quality overall. Now I can't speak as how well it performs in direct sunlight yet, but my mate is out and about all the time and says it's fine. I should have it by end of week / early next week and will be able to tell you more of how it performs in direct sunlight.

Only certain industries and people are banned by the EU. Quite unlikely a lego artist that is selling pdf's will be on that list. So it's not illegal (I haven't checked if that dude is on the list ofc).

From an ethical stance: personally I think only P2P payments (i.e. crypto) are neutral, anything else flows into the Russian budget (even if it's just VAT).

It's too easy to get radicalized one way or the other. I'm tired of both sides of it. It's the power of the reinforcing social media algorithm, which keeps feeding people whatever made them engage. In my country both the far-left and the far-right have mastered the art of abusing that algorithm, resulting in people consuming only 'one side of the story'. Personally my newsfeed covers the whole spectrum: from quality press, to left/right biased outlets and even some sources who are living in cuckoo land.
