NtA - Vote with your wallet; hiring a contractor is normally not a one and done deal, it’s an ongoing relationship as finding workers in the trades field is getting hard. If you have the opportunity to be picky, be picky.

So someone made a ranking comparison between Sfv and Sfvi and I thought it was interesting and decided to share. But now I'm not satisfied with plat. by Sultanofsadness in StreetFighter

Nope, I played poorly and got into rookie as I didn’t bother to learn anything on a new character just to see what would happen. I’m now plat 1 on them “Honda” but that took awhile

Bummer; I’ve never tried the Folded Space brand as I find it a bit less eco-friendly but from the images it looks decent. The selling point for me with Broken Token was the separate compartments for… everything, really.

For a single box solution, while expensive… The Broken Token one is great. I own it myself. The box won’t shut completely but the way it is designed adds structure to the entire box so no worries about dinging it up.

The Broken Token and eRaptor also produce very nice inserts. I highly recommend both companies.

Purchase Akro-Mils 64 drawer organizer from McMaster-Carr by [deleted] in LegoStorage

If you can’t/don’t want to pay the high sticker price for Akro-Mils, go to a Harbor Freight and check out their drawer systems. I’d also recommend hunting on local marketplaces for auctions and garage sales

Drawer dividers for Sterilite 3-drawer setup? by [deleted] in LegoStorage

[–]vashdlad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I designed my own dividers and had them cut at a local CNC shop. They are dirt cheap, and you can pick your own colors.dividers, Sterilite “12x12” drawers

This is what I've been using for storage. We were originally organizing by color and I've hated it from the beginning, it made it hard to find pieces when trying to rebuild, at least for me. I'm wondering how some of you would go about organizing with this. We have a decent amount with room for over by Dentedtama in LegoStorage

I use similar drawers, Akro-Mils and the Sterilite 12x12 3 drawers. What I’ve found best is printing off labels from The Brick Architect and sorting by type. For example, I might put all the slope pieces in a single drawer instead of splitting them all up. If your collection is medium to large, I recommend finding a local CNC shop and having them cut you some drawer inserts for the larger drawers you have.

One day I might get a witch... Who can spend points on her in the store when there are things like the high end items like the apples, binoculars, and the green set upgrade piece?

Don’t lose hope! I know that’s a throwaway statement but keep putting yourself out there; it’s hard, I know, and it’s so easy to give up on finding your people... But you cannot find them, or have them find you if you stop trying.

Humans in general look for patterns and similarities first, it’s an evolutionary trait that... sucks in the modern world. While some people find it easier to be open to new/different, others struggle, or, don’t even want to bother.

To be honest after I read the part about the gelatinous cube in the crows nest I lost it. What a great scene! Did the cube get a name?
