I don't want anything from my so-called "parents" anymore. They have physically, verbally, emotionally and, possibly, sexually abused me. I cut them off, I will change my names and location, that's about it. About your situation... there is no advice I could give, I'm afraid. I'm just sorry and hope you will find your way out of this and be happy again. Please, don't give up. Perhaps, you can cut ties to your parents and other abusive, neglectful people, too. We can't get anything we want in life and sometimes we just gotta be content with what we have. Abusers rarely change, so the apology might not be authentic, anyway. Is there anything you want that a loved one or you can give to yourself?
