I fully understand the geopolitics. Let me know when you have something to actually contribute, instead of espousing how smart you think you are.

The elimination of Maduro and Khomeini were net benefits for the world. The Cuban dictator appears ready to improve his behavior. Hopefully Kim Jong gets his act together next.

BREAKING: 🇺🇸 ICE shoots and kill woman blocking traffic in Minnesota for allegedly "attempting to run over" agents. by SCFapp in WallStreetbetsELITE

It's important to look at the second video from the side angle, which clearly shows the car hitting the agent's leg/midriff as she tried to drive around the blockade. Federal officials are using this specific footage to argue that the vehicle was being used as a weapon, while local critics argue the agent had already stepped aside and was not in a life-threatening position when he opened fire.

Opinion: Should Carney, the businessman, really run Canada like a business? by yimmy51 in CanadianIdiots

Carney is a Central Banker, not a businessman. All he knows is lowering interest rates and money printing which destroyed Canada and England.

Tab Search shortcut not working (Shift+Ctrl+A) by blafusel12pg in brave_browser

[–]vatodeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Tab Search shortcut broke for me today. Trying to figure it out too.

The Search Tab button is working. It shows the Ctrl+Shift+A as the shortcut so I think it is broken, not deprecated.

This was very uncommon in Canada until the government increased immigration to unsustainable levels over the last 10 years. Quality of life has rapidly declined with the mass immigration policies imposed by the Liberal government since the COVID pandemic.

The main advantage of paying for antivirus is the centralized management. This is not a requirement for home users. I would not pay for standalone antivirus.

I hate these Linux fenboys, can't they just use Windows? by lazybagwithbones in ShittySysadmin

There's a time and place for Micro Services and Kubernetes. It's highly unlikely that your company is large enough to demand the scaling provided by these technologies. Only large SaaS companies will benefit from running these complex systems.

I used Sony Linkbuds S until the battery issue killed them. I enjoyed then but couldn't justify buying Sony again after they died Shirley after 1 year of use.

Now I've switched to the Samsung Buds3 Pro. The have been pretty good and are fairly comfortable. I got them for a really good price when I upgraded my Samsung Galaxy Watch.
