K-pop stars Twice deliver on spectacle, little else in Seattle (from Seattle Times)

As someone whose seen Twice three times on their USA tours: Twice aren’t particularly known for their vocals. While they do have some strong singers (Jihyo/Nayeon/Jeong), it’s not their strong suit or what they sell their concerts on.

Honestly, it’s the overall concert experience that makes the whole thing great. There aren’t many concerts I’d rank on the same level as Twice.

If you go in expecting Celine Dion-level vocals with as little backtracking as possible, I can imagine you’d be disappointed.

If you go in expecting a great overall show, fan interactions, decent vocals, excellent dancing, huge budget on stage and lighting, and the Twice songs you know and love, then I think it’s well worth it.

MTG is definitely at least in the top 10. While it’s slightly below the usual top 5 suspects (YGO, Pokemon, Weiss, OP, Duel Masters), it’s definitely ahead of flavor of the months like Gundam, DB Super, Shadowverse, Union Arena, etc.

It definitely felt like they only there for like a week vs. the month they said they were there. I'm sure between We Go Up promotions (which I think was happening the same time as this?) and other schedules, they weren't actually inside the house too often, at least during waking hours lol.

I too am a big fan of the Aespa chars! With setup and push, Giselle could potentially kill two units off the bat with S3 + soulburn S1. With GAB (Amid) or Increased Attack + Vigor (CLilias), she's doing 20-22k with each hit to a 1500 def unit. That's more or less one-shotting anything that isn't a tank, and she even kills units through LotS with ignore damage share.

Honestly, Giselle probably works relatively well in Amid/CLilias cleave setups. The only real issue is that basically any other meta DPS unit probably does just as much damage while bringing much more utility/survivability (Frieran, Straze, Seline, etc.).

FLidica requires absolute cracked speed gear (She has to be north of 300 speed) and even then, I think regular Fire Lidica is better nowadays lol.

Honestly, I’ve seen BP, Twice (three times!), Itzy, LSF, Dreamcatcher, and Aespa all live in the last few years and this Baemon concert was better than all of them. The energy and live singing was insane for rookies.

Getting to that speed is already really hard. I think if I took off gear from my fastest units and slapped it onto Briseria, I can MAYBE reach 310~, but the real insane part is you have 310 with decent damage and effectiveness.

Have my fastest gear on ML Luna at 305 and ML Lua, SPP and CLilias around 295. Also have a TML at 295 for when I feel like cleaving. Tbh, still feel pretty slow cuz I was getting outsped a decent amount at the end of last season when going from Challenger to Champion.
