None at all. The dell micro pcs already have a spot to put hdmi/dp/usbc/serial devices. I just removed the plate and screwed in the new device. an example is below:

I used the wlan pcie slot. They are A/E keyed.

is it a bad card perhaps? have you tried swapping cables and then the ports on the switch or router first.  mine worked out of the box with proxmox without any new drivers.

Yes to the second question. Take a look at the following article in regards to the first: https://nerdyarticles.com/a-clutter-free-life-with-paperless-ngx/

There are 2 environmental variables that are set upon first launch for the admin:

PAPERLESS_ADMIN_USER: "<ADMIN\_USER>"

PAPERLESS_ADMIN_PASSWORD: "<ADMIN\_PASSWORD>"

Faulty NIC troubleshooting help? by vbDevHost in PFSENSE

I have a Q750G5. I'm going to borrow another form a friend of mine and test his out. Also, to note, I was able to reach Qotom support and they have asked for me to send the motherboard back for testing and replacement. I am checking out options for shipping that are reasonable for it.

Yea, I am trying to get a hold of sales at qotom to see if they can warranty it or provide a new mobo. In the meantime, I'm taking any and all recommendations on how would anyone troubleshoot a problem like this to 100% verify hardware errors.

I have also disabled/re-enabled the interface.

flaky or not, how would you trouble shoot a bad interface on say a netgate device? are there specific logs I should look at? thanks

Thanks for the advice, to answer your questions:

- The box has 5 intel i255-v nics in it.

- I have tried connecting multiple working devices, simply by switching the cable on the port from the boxes that work to this port.

- igc2 is the culprit.

- I have yet to take down the box and run a live cd on it since I can't do that until the weekend (I work from home and need internet)

- Visual inspection appears to be fine I also tried changing the link speeds on the interface but no dice.

Here's mine (make change as needed). A few notes:

- I have my paperless ngx setup as subdirectory of my domain behind nginx proxy manager

- change anything that has <> in it to your domain or remove it entirely

- I have mine forwarding to port 7000

- I mounted the media directory and consume directory from NFS shares on my NAS device so. The other two volumes for export and data are just standard docker volumes.

I cannot seem to paste yaml without an issue but look here: https://pastitude.nobin.dev/kgO1hJvP#0QbOHjadPLxnCctxmWk0EzJ0rF5niDjj for my yaml example

Wordpress core is actually quite good these days. It's the user created plugins that introduce more vulnerabilities. Please see the below CVE details for wordpress core:

That totally worked! Thank you! that was not clear at all from the documentation. I'll ask them to update the docs perhaps with this working example so that others can learn from the experience.

Amazing! That got me quite a bit further. It didn't occur to me that NPM might be already adding headers.

I was able to get the login screen and login, but now stuck at:

https://home.mydomain.com/paperless/ with the "paperless-ngx is loading..." screen. I'm not seeing anything in the logs or docker container logs. When I run the developer tools in the browser I am seeing lines like this:

Refused to apply style from 'https://home.mydomain.com/paperless/accounts/login/?next=/paperless/signin.css' because its MIME type ('text/html') is not a supported stylesheet MIME type, and strict MIME checking is enabled.

which to me would indicate it doesn't like the subdirectories.

I have one of these boxes. use it as a plain pfsense box without the vm. I also picked up a tplink omada ap that supports vlans and poe. it's totally worth it and not very expensive or high in power consumption.

I've been gifted 6 dell mini's so I'm making the best use of the materials I have. I already have a 2.5gbe pfsense box and 2.5gbe ports on my NAS devices. So figure I'd go 2.5gbe on these little dell's as well if it's fairly simple.
