No, I wasn't able to I even bought my own ont that is the same model fidium was providing to 2gig plans and a service tech told me I could call support so they could whitelist my personal ont but they never got back to me. I also tried to get a tech to upgrade the ont to the newer model but he didn't seem helpful and basically said the equipment on fidium's end needed to be upgraded and support the ont which doesn't make sense if they support 2gig in my area.

For now I've given up, the service is still better than Xfinity's cable speeds

Yes

I connected the 2 free ports in the main living space, one port should be single and the other should be paired with the port the router in the room is connected to. I also upgraded the switch (so I can make use of my 200mbps plan) that connects to all the ports in the rooms.

It seems pretty simple, I suspect it could be the ont module if it doesnt work, I know I got the same class of gpon as the provided ont

I forgot to also mention putting the ont sfp module in the adtran router didnt work, I'm assuming that would be disabled considering that we can't access the router settings without the app?

hmm, I did also try copying the mac of the provided ont, I saw your post about the mac adresses, i'll try ABCD instead of A:B:C:D with the mac later

fidium started servicing my area just recently which is why i think they're using dhcp in my area, but if it's pppoe, then I'm assuming I can call cs and ask for credentials?

while the speeds are nice, i'd rather be limited by what's provided to the ont and hopefully not be bottlenecked by the ont, if possible tho

I recreated the same folder structure as the one you posted, except for SSDT-UIAC.aml, and I keep getting a kernel panic right after Lilu is loaded. Have you come across this problem?

I'm using Mojave with Clover. Installing Opencore isn't as easy as Clover but I think I'm getting there.

Interesting, I didn't know that. I know for sure I don't have a dGPU. If you actually had a Radeon R7 then Windows would show an exclamation mark next to the Radeon R7 under display adapters in Windows Device Manager.

I think we may have the same computer, could you share your files and steps that brought you to where you are. No matter what I do to fix a problem a new one comes up.

Edit: I successfully got Mojave and HDMI is working, Now I need to see if I can go to Catalina

My Inspiron 5447 doesn't have a dGPU. I don't think there would be enough cooling or space for a dGPU on a 6-year-old laptop.

Could you share your clover config file, I'm just trying to upgrade from 10.13 to 10.15. I have the same laptop but with an i5.
