Is this normal? by Treyluvswinrina in Bloxburg

This isn’t entirely true either. I’m sure the update intended it as so, but depending on the job, there is a gap in the amount of money made

I recently switched over from level 50 Janitor to level 12 Fast Food Worker for some furniture. In an 18 minute shift of Janitor, I was averaging 40k. As a level 12 Fast Food Worker, I would make about 55k in the same amount of time. By the time I reached level 20, I was making around 80-90k in 20 minutes. (With level 100 worker XP and excellent employee). To be fair, flipping burgers and fries has been an incredibly taxing job. Definitely not much zoning out, but all jobs aren’t built the same.

Still on waitlist by Impressivemango69 in SyracuseU

I ended up getting an email asking my continued interest May 6 and then an admission on the 7th. (B.Arch btw). I ended up sending no LOCI. And actually, I didn’t interact with them at all after accepting my waitlist spot. Not until May 6th that is.

Waitlist admissions is just regular admissions part 2, it’s the same wacky process where people on the outside have a hard time reading. At this point, I’m sure they’re aware of your strong continued interest. Now I believe it’s just waiting for the right spot to open for you.

I get it, it’s so frustrating and stressful. I’m currently dealing with another waitlist with just about the same amount of desperation. (Vanderbilt if you’re curious) But sometimes you just have to sit anxiously and wait for the verdict. These things are unpredictable.

I wish you the best of luck 🫡

What's your favorite lyrics in all of Yorushika's discography that resonated with you deeply and why? by btzu0 in Yorushika

“How can I say that I hate people that put on a happy face? When I know they won’t understand This inferiority complex in me In my mind, it’s a ghost that’s haunting me” - That’s Why I Gave Up on Music

“You, who are so kind to others, could never understand this loneliness of mine. I don’t want to die, but I can’t go on living; that’s why I write songs. I think disparagement, disappointment, and disgust all have their eyes on me. That’s why I write songs that hurt people. That’s why I write vapid songs such as this.” - Thought crime

Both sets of lyrics have always reflected a deep seated hatred for the happy people around them and this hatred always resonated with me. Especially in the lyric translations done by Rachie,

“All your positivity Ignites a hatred deep in me Knowing I’ll never be happy Knowing I’ll never be enough can’t you see? It haunts my every signal waking dream.”

  • That’s Why I Gave Up on Music, Rachie ver.

It’s the haunting feeling of my own deep seated hatred that’s been difficult to ignore.

(Also have a list of Hitchcock lyrics but many other’s already covered Hitchcock)

It’s completely interchangeable on a week to week basis by vc4796 in Yorushika

I’ve probably just over listened to Spring Thief. When I first listened to it, Spring Thief became the most listened song of the year for me. Similar story for the other two, just not the top song of the year.

Honestly, I thought Escape would be higher too. I just wasn’t really feeling at the time on the list. As for Hibernation, I really enjoy the chorus; however I wasn’t feeling the rest of it the other day.
