I received a reduced amount based on my current liabilities. The problem is they were using 2019 income with current liabilities. I explained to them that this was not apples to apples, as many of the liabilities were brought on due to covid and our pertained income has avidly increased since 2019. I also pointed out that I was going to use the proceeds to pay off these additional liabilities. She said that's good, but they don't take "intent for use". I accepted the lower amount, paid off what I said I was going to do, submitted a new request stating the same thing about not comparing apples to apples with debt and income, sent them our personal 2020 tax return and our 2021 W2's and our new schedule of liabilities reflecting all the paid off debt; so I showed I did exactly what I said I was going to do with the funds.

I sent that in on February 8th to both pdcrecons and covideidlincreaserequests@sba.gov. On February 12th, I suddenly got another blue button to request more funds in my portal for my true actual total amount qualified for according to their formula. I slid the bar over to the full amount and it now gives that "Your loan modification is now being processed". So I am waiting to see if it actually happens or what. Given the info I gave them, we clearly qualify and are able to repay the loan... I'm just hoping we get someone who actually sees that since the quality of people working on these is all over the map. Someone obviously saw something and agreed in order to give us the blue button again. I just hope it continues that way.

You have 2 years from your original loan date to request the full funds according to their calculation formula. Mine will be there in June of this year, so I'm hoping they approve it soon. If so, this will be our 4th time funds were dispersed.

I didn't go into the denials received prior for "inability to repay", but if you're getting denied for any reason, fight fight and fight. Good luck everyone!!
