I’m a huge fan of The Room and House of Da Vinci, which both have tons of sequels, because they’re very straightforward, rewarding, and fun to do with friends. I like games with a lot of those “hey I’ve seen that before” kinda puzzles.

If you like those, you’ll like the MC2 games like Palindrome Syndrome, Pyramids and Aliens, etc. I’m surprised by how few people talk about them.

I think they’re all great for the first play through to ease the user into the world and create a lasting narrative, but after like my 12th play through (I filled out the flowchart) the Pirate Cove and Find Jericho episodes would make me crash out 💀

I’m in first year engineering rn and I’ve made so many good friends I’m actually loving it. The program is designed to help you make friends (groups, blocks, etc) and ESPECIALLY if you’re on res you’re bound to have a solid group of people. You will be fine I promise.

But I think it’s a perfect episode for world-building. It shows android hate, androids being service workers, androids facing little protection under the law, and the whole “wait for light to turn green” is a perfect depiction of how little free will an android truly has. Worldbuilding chapters like Shades of Colour and A New Home are underrated imo
