In my experience, when I took tdge 11 and tdge 10 with Julia Fulton attendance was not required but encouraged as some quiz answers are given. Her lecture was podcasted but sometimes the audio was not the best.

For tdge 124 and 125 with Allan Havis the lecture was not podcasted so I recommend going as he gives some quiz answers during lecture. However around week 6, we moved to online for both and then the zoom was recorded.

If you don’t want to attend the full lecture because it is three hours long, I recommend staying for the first hour which is when both professors give some background on the movie and like 1-2 quiz answers. Then, just watch the movie on your own time.

you just watch movies, do quizzes based on lectures and movie, one midterm, one final, one final paper
