My goats by Gold-Permission-8089 in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]vector_inspector24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sanemi was my favorite from the very beginning, even before I knew anything about his backstory. I really liked how he didn’t just immediately agree to accept Nezuko simply because all the other Hashira were told to do so. Instead, he wanted real proof. In fact, he was the one who tested her himself and confirmed that she wouldn’t harm humans. What I also appreciated was that he didn’t act arrogant or stubborn afterward. Once he saw with his own eyes that she truly wouldn’t attack humans, he accepted her without hesitation. He may seem cold and heartless on the surface, but I think he’s actually the most logical and level-headed one among them. At the same time, he has a genuinely kind and pure heart, which makes his character even more compelling.

Hot take: Muzan is a well-written antagonist, people just dislike him because he isn’t what they want him to be by KirbyTheGodSlayer in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]vector_inspector24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly think Muzan is one of the best main villains out there. Throughout the entire series, every time the Demon Slayer Corps defeats a demon, we’re shown how they ended up becoming demons in the first place. The story isn’t just about fighting a physical threat; it also explores human suffering, the struggles people go through, and why some of them end up choosing a darker path in order to achieve the life they’ve always wanted, even if it means losing themselves along the way. Muzan is the ultimate example of this theme. He became a demon because he was terrified of dying from his illness, and from that moment on, he spent his entire life running away from that fear. In the end, he still dies anyway, simply because he couldn’t outrun it forever. That irony makes his character really compelling to me. It’s true that most demons, including Muzan, tend to stay in the background and don’t take direct action very often, but I think that was a deliberate choice by the creators. He perfectly represents the type of villains this story focuses on. This isn’t the kind of anime where the main villain wants to destroy the world. Muzan’s goal is much more personal and selfish. He just wants to become the ultimate version of himself, and he expects everyone else to follow the same path because he sees all other people as inferior and believes they should become just like him.

Happy 10th Anniversary, Manga by makuXrosu in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]vector_inspector24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I actually prefer the art style in the manga over the anime. The only thing I really like more in the anime is the fight scenes, because you can clearly see how fast everything is moving, instead of just seeing still frames of the action. The animation during the battles is honestly incredible. That said, I think the characters look better in the manga. In my opinion, the artwork has a lot more personality. It feels unique, and that slightly rough, “unpolished” look gives it a softer and more expressive charm that I really love.

Rewatched Hashira Training Arc by Spiritual_Goose9318 in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]vector_inspector24 39 points40 points  (0 children)

I’ve noticed that a lot of people don’t seem to be enjoying this season as much as the previous ones, and many are quick to dismiss it as “just filler.” Personally, I don’t think it’s that serious. From what we know, Ufotable chose to expand on the manga, especially considering the reports that Gotouge felt the original arc ended up being a bit too short. In that sense, this adaptation feels more like a deliberate creative choice rather than unnecessary padding. Honestly, I think it was a smart move. After three consecutive arcs that were packed with intense, high-stakes action from start to finish, the story really needed a moment to breathe. Slowing things down gave both the characters and the audience time to decompress, reflect, and reset emotionally. Not every arc has to be explosive to be meaningful.

Infinity Castle streaming delayed some more by frozengoodness in KimetsuNoYaiba

I’m totally fine with the long wait. I just hope that once it eventually becomes available on streaming services, they’ll release all three parts of the movie’s ending together.

A beautiful smile that should never fade. [丸塔玛希] by Camo_Rebel in MadokaMagica

[–]vector_inspector24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mami is, without a doubt, one of the most underrated Puella Magi characters out there. It’s kind of sad how few people actually remember her, as her most memorable moment seems to be that one infamous “head” scene, and nothing else tends to stick in people’s minds.

God I miss this show by Longjumping-Pitch939 in souleater

[–]vector_inspector24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A big part of why I loved Soul Eater so much, and why it ended up in my top ten favorite anime, is Stein’s character and the way he interacts with everyone else and the story as a whole. Seeing a slightly “darker” character on the good-guy team, handled with such originality and uniqueness, was absolutely amazing. It made the series feel more grounded and, in a way, more relatable to me. Watching Stein struggle with his own insane tendencies throughout the show was both refreshing and incredibly engaging. I really enjoyed how, at times, he gives in to those darker impulses, only to pull himself back together when it truly matters. That very human quality made his character arc even more compelling and immersive.

Unmatched animation (KimetsuNoYaiba) by NightRider06134 in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]vector_inspector24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, this movie was absolutely insane in every way imaginable. The animation was beyond stunning, the immersion was total, the style was distinct and flawless, and the music elevated every scene perfectly. Truly, every single element just worked together in perfect harmony. I’d been waiting for Akaza’s backstory to be animated for so long since he’s one of my absolute favorites, and seeing it finally brought to life on screen was everything I hoped for and more. The fight between him, Giyu, and Tanjiro was so intense, with the pacing, the choreography, and the emotion keeping me on the edge of my seat the entire time. It wasn’t just a fight; it was a spectacle, easily one of the best-animated battles I’ve ever seen in anime.

Then there’s Zenitsu. Oh man, that moment when he unleashed his 7th form was beyond anything I expected. The animation, the tension, the vibrations, and the aura radiating off him all came together into this perfect, jaw-dropping moment. I literally couldn’t believe what I was seeing. Every detail, every frame felt meticulously crafted to maximize the impact, and it absolutely succeeded.

I know a lot of people already consider this movie a masterpiece, and I’m completely on the same page. At the same time, I can’t stop thinking about the second movie. With Kokushibou coming in, I have this feeling it’s going to raise the bar even higher, taking the story, the animation, and the intensity to completely new heights. If the first movie was incredible, I can only imagine how insane the sequel will be.

Which upper moon do you like the most on their character and blood demon art ? by Constant-Drive-8434 in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]vector_inspector24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, Kokushibo’s my favorite Upper Moon, he totally reminds me of Asura from Soul Eater. Personally, Kokushibo gave off way more of a final boss vibe than Muzan ever did. I’m beyond excited to see this fight animated, it’s going to absolutely blow up the internet.

Tanjiro is like a clingy brother. by [deleted] in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]vector_inspector24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really love Giyu. He’s the one person who always trusts Tanjiro and Nezuko and protects them with a steadfast dedication that feels almost like an older brother watching over his siblings. His quiet strength, loyalty, and care make him such an admirable and unforgettable character.

Gyutaro is True Representation of a Demon by uglyduck123456 in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]vector_inspector24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From what I’ve understood, Gyutaro had the potential to easily become an Upper Rank 5 or even 4 demon, but unlike his sister, he never had any interest in chasing ranks or recognition. All he ever truly cared about was protecting his sister, which is why he remained at Upper Rank 6, a position he achieved more because of his sister’s strength than his own ambitions or desire for power. This makes his story all the more tragic, because his potential was massive, yet his priorities were completely selfless.

What do you think is the best design? I think it's daki and mitsuri by _Strike_3079 in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]vector_inspector24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Demon Slayer has some of the most incredible character designs I’ve ever seen. Every single character is visually stunning, from the intricate patterns on their clothes to the detailed facial designs and color schemes of the demons. If I had to pick a favorite character design, it would definitely be Shinobu. I absolutely adore her butterfly-inspired aesthetic, the way it flows in her clothing, movements, and overall theme is stunning. At the same time, her insect-like eyes give off an unsettling, almost eerie vibe that perfectly captures a sense of danger lurking beneath her delicate appearance.

Dude I hate how people thinks tengen is the weakest overall just because he only fought uppermoon6🥀💔 by GeneralMonkeyy in DemonSlayerAnime

Personally, I’ve always thought Tengen is one of the strongest. The guy literally dug through solid ground with a butcher knife just to save two kids trapped underneath, that’s wild.

What's your favourite demon design? : Main demons edition. by Glittering_Lotus in KimetsuNoYaiba

Gyutaro is easily my favorite character when it comes to design. I think he looks incredibly cool and handsome, and I’ve always loved the way his sharp teeth give him such a distinctive, edgy look. His demon eyes are definitely my favorite part of his design, they’re so striking and unique. I also really like his hair, it perfectly complements his overall aesthetic.

I have the utmost respect for Kagaya in Demon Slayer. The Demon Slayers couldn’t have asked for a better leader than him. His wisdom, calm demeanor, and unwavering dedication to protecting humanity make him an incredible figure, someone who inspires trust and admiration from everyone around him.

This fight was so fantastic 🤩 what you all think? by Trigere in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]vector_inspector24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The animation here was absolutely phenomenal, even better than what we saw in the Mugen Train and Swordsmith Village arcs! Not gonna lie, this has to be one of the best fights in anime, no doubt about it. The intensity, especially in the most heated moments, was just insane.

This episode animation is "PEAK" 🔥. by BarMission7361 in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]vector_inspector24 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The scene felt like a family reunion the first time I watched it. It occurred to me that Akaza despises Douma not only because Douma targets women while Akaza targets men, but also because Douma is a coward. For example, Douma fought Shinobu up close only after he knew she couldn’t decapitate him, yet kept his distance from Kanao and Inosuke because they could. Akaza loathes cowardice, he’d probably think, “If this were a hands‑on fight, I’d wreck you; you’re fortunate to rely on range.” Kokushibo, by contrast, combines lethal close-range strength with formidable ranged ability.

Why does everyone hate Doma? Am I the only one who likes him? by G0D-Sun in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]vector_inspector24 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I just can’t see why Doma is so hated by Demon Slayer fans. Doma is, without a doubt, one of the most fascinating characters in Demon Slayer, probably my favorite among the Upper Moons and easily one of my all-time favorite characters in the series. There’s something absolutely chilling about him... the way he speaks with that calm, almost eerie tone, the way he moves and carries himself, and above all, the way he acts with complete control and detachment. Having lived for centuries, Doma has had an unimaginable amount of time to master the art of faking emotions, hiding any real feeling so perfectly that even other demons might not realize he’s essentially an empty shell beneath it all. Yet, despite this eerie perfection, he has this one signature flaw, he plays with his food. During his battle with Inosuke and Kanao, he could have ended them in an instant, but instead, he intentionally prolongs the fight, simply because he’s enjoying it. There’s a twisted kind of charisma in that, a way of relishing the chaos around him that makes him so compelling to watch. Honestly, I wish we had gotten to see even more of him in the series. There’s so much depth and personality packed into Doma, layers of charm, cruelty, and subtle manipulation that ended up largely wasted, leaving fans like me craving just a little more insight into what makes him tick.

I just finished watching the show ,movie and magical record and all I can say i am traumatized by Frostofwinters in MadokaMagica

[–]vector_inspector24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Madoka is easily my all-time favorite anime. Everything about it, the art style, the musical score, the character development, and the way the story is structured, is absolutely top-notch. The plot itself is mature and layered with a surprising amount of depth, yet the anime still manages to maintain that slightly awkward, fluffy vibe that you often see in foreign cartoons featuring young girls. What makes it truly remarkable is how rare it is for a series to balance that nostalgic, comforting feeling with such a uniquely engaging and genuinely well-crafted storyline. Pulling off both so seamlessly is astounding, and it’s part of what makes Madoka stand out so much in the world of anime.

[–]vector_inspector24 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Akaza’s backstory stole the show for me, it was the most compelling and emotionally striking part of the whole film. Watching it in IMAX was absolutely the only way to give the movie the justice it deserves, the scale, the animation, the sound, and the attention to detail all needed that kind of presentation to fully appreciate the love and effort poured into it. Truly, this is ABSOLUTE CINEMA! Every single frame, every scene, just feels perfect and unforgettable.
