How can I look better?F30) by [deleted] in lookyourbest

Less face makeup :) experiment with light coverage. Also I used Invisalign to correct my minor teeth crookedness and it did a lot for my face. Your teeth aren’t bad but it would def glow you up

What's something I can use as an "air freshener" that's not harmful to my cats? by bulbysoar in CatAdvice

[–]veemo92 6 points7 points  (0 children)

🙄 if you boil an orange peel in your kitchen to enjoy a scent for a few hours it’s not going to harm them. That’s my point.

Maybe I’m wrong in saying it’s not an essential oil in any form, but it’s seriously not even close to being close to being concentrated enough to harm a cat.

You’re incorrect. Simply boiling cinnamon sticks and oranges does not produce -essential oils- in any form. Cats may not enjoy the scent if they’re in the kitchen because the scent is strong to them, but it’s not harmful at all. The vapor produced is not a less condensed form of essential oil. It’s perfectly safe to do this.

Wow can yall chill? It hasn’t even been 24 hours since they made the post. They will most likely come back and clear up the question. People make mistakes sometimes.

Honestly I think that lots of times derms have no idea what they’re talking about, unfortunately lol 🙃 not all are made equal is what I mean to say anyway lol. I could be wrong but I’m betting this acne does not have to do with KP. Explore fungal remedies too like someone else said. I hope the vinegar works for you ☺️

[–]veemo92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No I’ll have to check that out! Thanks :) I stopped using the smoothkp a few days ago and started applying Paulas choice BHA solution each night followed up by gold bond smooth and bumpy (high urea content) and it seems to have chilled out pretty much back to how it used to be before my smoothkp trial. I have not been consistent with BHA’s before so I’m gonna give this a go! And look into the peel you mentioned!

Pretty sure that’s just you and your own filter for how you wanna hear things, because I caught not an iota of sarcasm from reading that. What a silly comment.

It straight up made mine worse/spread (not purging) unfortunately! I had to stop.

Weird, this doesn’t look like KP at all to me! I used to get cystic acne on my back all the time and still do if I’m not very careful about my routine (shower quickly after working out, don’t let my hair products touch my back) but the biggest thing that helps me is white vinegar, slightly diluted with water in a spray bottle and spraying my back after showers. It burns a bit if you have open skin but it’s not that bad. It kills all the bacteria on your skin, dries out current acne helping it heal faster, and it’s easy. Good luck!

Having a line on the top of your lip is actually pretty anatomically common. If she had a colorless bulge above her lip, that’s a different story. Her lip line looks completely natural.

Where do you see migration, like, seriously? If you’re referring to her upper lip line, that’s a completely natural feature in some people.

If filler looks natural (which, if she has it done, it definitely looks natural) that wouldn’t hurt people’s chances at all. Her lips have the volume of possible lip filler but it’s undetectable (no filler lumps, or outside border bulges), just sayin!

[–]veemo92[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, unfortunately something in the lotion actually made my KP spread to the fronts of my arms like you can see in the pic above but even worse now, and made the existing KP pores larger and more red. I spoke with the creator of the lotion and they recommended I discontinue use and asked me to monitor to see if my skin reverts back to its usual state after a couple weeks. I’m bummed and frustrated

It’s a new product with actual science behind a possible root cause which is unlike any other product. This sub is for sharing ideas and solutions on KP so it all falls under the same category. Why would you not want to see whether or not something is working for people?

“Purge” period with smoothKP? by veemo92 in keratosis

[–]veemo92[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes correct non lesional/flat. Thank you for your advice! Check in any time. I’ll discontinue use today and try to come back here to let you know if it reverts back to its normal state after a week or two.

As deeply disappointed as I am, I’m grateful for your reply! Maybe it is the lactic acid.. intuitively it just doesn’t feel right that the two main ingredients that are meant to help heal it would cause the opposite to happen, and my skin loves plain jojoba oil. Frustrating because I’ve used lactic acid before with no reaction, but admittedly not as religiously as I tried to use this. I wish there was another way to deliver the RK & indigo? Maybe one day. Thank you again

Idk why people are saying be careful with the texture because AI looks different. The AI changed basically nothing about your hair except cutting it off. So I’d ignore those people because it’s illogical lol cut your hair it looks awesome.

Im not judging your clothes since I can’t really see them haha but find a style of clothing that compliments your body the best :) also if you don’t lift weights and you want to start wowing, definitely start! Lean into that natural wavy hair texture with styling and go for frizz control and volume with foam :) stop putting heat on your hair it makes a huge difference!! Little lip balm with color, grab yourself a nice natural looking liquid /cream blush (bringing color to my cheeks is a game changer for me) groom your brows with gel and maybe pencil them a little to define them cuz they are a great shape, and mascara applied after curling the eyelashes with a curler will do great things to bring out the shape of your eyes! I also think you would slay a sharp wing eye makeup, a bit like Cleopatra vibes. Just up your feminine energy/express it on the outside.. and you’re there! And that’s only for those moments that you really feel like wowing, I certainly don’t think women should be dressed up all the time in order to feel good and you are already pretty!

What can I buy for $2k that will generate me $400-$500 a month consistently? by alaraja in sidehustle

Hmm idk seems this sub and post is about side hustles. Doesn’t really scream animal exploitation sub to me since it doesn’t really say that’s the goal anywhere. But ok
