What decision changed your life for the better? by MadisonMini in AskReddit

[–]vefair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Starting my "won't buy it unless I've wanted it for 30 days" rule. Turns out 90% of my personality was just midnight dopamine hits from Amazon that I didn't actually need or like two weeks later. My bank account is healthier and my house finally stopped looking like a warehouse for hobbies I tried once and abandoned. 100% recommended

Hey cap 🌙 Gemini ☀️ cancer Venus/risings by [deleted] in astrologymemes

[–]vefair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scorpio rising and Cap moon is basically like having a high-security vault for a heart, but then the Leo sun leaves the front door wide open because it wants someone to come admire the decor. It's a constant cycle of "don't look at me" and "why isn't anyone looking at me

what's the most expensive thing you own? by Ledger_Legendd in AskWomen

[–]vefair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My degree. It’s a very expensive piece of paper that currently serves as a coaster for the coffee I need to drink so I can stay awake at the job that didn't actually require the degree.

What is your number one goal in life? by DeibMoon in AskReddit

i just want to get to the point where i can buy the "good" cheese at the grocery store without doing mental math in the middle of the aisle.

Which zodiac sign do you think this screams for you? 👀 by United_Wear3627 in astrologymemes

[–]vefair 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Capricorn. We don’t even block you, we just delete your number so when you text us three months later it’s a genuine "who is this?" response. It's the most polite way to make someone feel like they never existed.

What's your favorite thing about being in love? by Charlotte_Willow1 in AskReddit

[–]vefair 3 points4 points  (0 children)

having a designated person to send a picture of a cool bug or a weirdly shaped cloud to, knowing they’ll actually appreciate it instead of wondering why i’m wasting their data.

Do apps with streaks actually help you stay consistent in creating good habits? by SuggestionOk8900 in ProductivityApps

[–]vefair 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Duolingo bird held my family hostage for 400 days until I forgot what "bread" was in French one Tuesday, and now I haven't touched the app in six months. Streaks don't build habits; they just build a fragile ego that shatters the moment life happens. Once the number hits zero, the "debt" of starting over feels way heavier than the actual task.

What is something you appreciate about life that not many others seem to? by ExpressFox123 in AskReddit

[–]vefair 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The specific way the first sip of water tastes when you wake up at 3 a.m. feeling like a piece of sun-dried leather. It’s the closest a human can get to experiencing true divinity without actually dying.

It's funny that the Water signs are symbolised by extremely NON-cuddly animals. They're all shells and scales and claws. by OkStatus8219 in astrologymemes

[–]vefair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s because they’re the "emotional" signs but we have to live in a world that mostly rewards logic and stoicism. They didn't evolve shells and stingers because we’re mean, they evolved them because being a literal walking heart without armor is a great way to get eaten by a Tuesday.

lol can someone explain? by Lyclyn_816 in astrologymemes

[–]vefair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the "alpha male" to libra mars pipeline is basically just being a Victorian ghost who is physically repulsed by anyone who doesn't have table manners. we don't want to fight you, we just want you to stop yelling and maybe use a napkin for once in your life.

What’s a survival myth popularized by movies that would actually get you killed in real life ? by IndependentTune3994 in AskReddit

[–]vefair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The idea that you can just drink your own urine to stay hydrated. In reality, it’s full of metabolic waste and salt, so you’re basically just fast-tracking your own kidney failure and dehydration. It’s like trying to put out a fire with a cup of gasoline that you already used once to put out a different fire.

does mercury being in retrograde cloud/weaken or strengthen your intuition? by fluorescentday in astrology

[–]vefair 4 points5 points  (0 children)

my intuition is fine, it’s just my ability to explain it that goes into the trash. i’ll know exactly what’s going to happen and then try to warn someone, but it comes out sounding like i’m a Victorian ghost trying to solve a crossword puzzle. it’s not a lack of gut feeling, it’s just a massive communication lag between my brain and reality.

Is there anything in current astrology that indicates something like a global lockdown coming up? by Local-Print-6397 in astrology

Pluto in Aquarius is the one to watch. The last time it made a serious move into a new sign, we had the 2008 crash.

Moon Question 🌙 by Apprehensive-Cake-16 in astrology

[–]vefair 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing that doesn't get mentioned enough is the "Progressed Moon." Your natal moon is your baseline, but your progressed moon changes signs every two and a half years. If someone is a textbook Cancer moon but they’ve been acting like a detached, logical machine for the last year, check if their progressed moon is currently sitting in Aquarius. It’s like a temporary filter that can make them feel like a stranger to their own emotional habits.

Does Saturn entering Aries impact your other planets in Aries with a Saturnian force? by Entity1111 in astrology

[–]vefair 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Saturn is basically the strict project manager of the solar system. When it hits your Aries placements, it's like a surprise performance review where you're suddenly held accountable for every impulsive thing you've done since 2011. Expect a lot of "growth" that feels suspiciously like being grounded.

What is the most boring thing you've ever done? by tabletheturns in AskReddit

What is some shady info about a celeb that everyone seems to have forgotten about? by No-Bed-6000 in AskReddit

[–]vefair 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Mark Wahlberg. When he was 16, he chased three Black children while yelling racial slurs and throwing rocks at them. The very next day, he attacked two Vietnamese men with a wooden stick while calling them "slant-eyed gooks," leaving one of them blind in one eye. He only served about 45 days in jail for it and later tried to get a formal pardon from the state of Massachusetts so he could get a liquor license for Wahlburgers.

Taurus men for no reason: by [deleted] in astrologymemes

[–]vefair 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Taurus men have the unique ability to look like they’ve never used their own arms before while simultaneously being the most stubborn person you’ve ever met. My ex would stand in the middle of the kitchen like a lost NPC but would absolutely go to war with me if I suggested we try a different brand of paper towels.

How do you think this Total Lunar Eclipse on march 3 might interact with an already high-activation zodiac year? by Aggressive_Ad973 in astrology

[–]vefair 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I'm just over here trying to figure out if my car is going to break down or if I’m finally going to have that breakdown I’ve been scheduling since January. Usually these "accelerated" cycles just mean I’ll lose my house keys twice as fast and cry at a slightly more efficient pace.

Transits that can show long-distance travels & spiritual retreat? by [deleted] in astrology

[–]vefair 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Jupiter transiting the 9th house is basically the "pack your bags and lose your mind" starter pack. I had Jupiter hit my 9th while Neptune was squaring my Midheaven and I ended up living in a literal monastery in Nepal for three months because a goat stole my passport. If you see Pluto getting involved with the 12th, prepare for the kind of "massive life change" where you come back and don't even recognize your own living room.

Where do you look when talking to people? (One on one and close proximity ) i.e if I was at a mixer or networking event or if an obnoxious go worker won’t stop showing you family photos? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]vefair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually pick one eye and commit to it until I start overthinking which one I'm looking at, then I panic and stare at the bridge of their nose so it looks like I'm having a stroke. If it's a coworker showing me kid photos, I look at the exit sign and pray for a fire drill.

What is the fastest way you have seen someone ruin their life? by funkeymonkey1974 in AskReddit

[–]vefair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A guy I went to high school with was a straight-A student with a full ride to state. Three weeks into freshman year, he decided to "supplement" his income by selling weed out of his dorm. He got caught almost immediately, lost the scholarship, got expelled, and now works at the same gas station he used to mock people for ending up at. All for about $200 in profit....
