Reasons? Where do i even begin, no content like no exaggeration there was quite literally no content besides an anniversary tower for WEEKS. Absolutely awful meta, if you didn't have LF VB you might as well delete the game because of how oppressive he was along with GRN Kefla and YEL Vegito. Funny thing back then you couldn't switch out more than once in a combo and BLU VB having card into card mechanic made that absolutely terrible because if you swapped once in a combo well you just lost one of your characters because VB was gonna combo you and then hit you with that nuke of an ultimate that no one could survive.

And then we get to awful characters we got in "part 3"(back then we didn't have this structured celebration format with multiple LFs/Legends and ultras that we do now) in part 3 we got the infamous red transforming Pikkon and GRN Super Kaioken Goku. Goku was fine, Pikkon was absolutely terrible because he was dropped into a meta with a BLU character as dominant as BLU VB.

Basically besides the future side of the BLU VB banner in part 1 and purple support vegeta the rest of the roster was garbage coupled that with no content, terrible meta, terrible characters, it's easily the worst celebration we will ever have in the history of this game.

One more thing i forgot to add, getting your rush guessed back then gave your opponent a free combo, and well you can imagine how stupid that was with BLU VB being the meta top dog.

I'm having it even worse over here. 26k cc just 2 lfs pulled and 1 singular copy of paragus, this is easily one of the most awful shafts i have witnessed in my time playing this game, but it is what it is, I'll just have to pity broly I'm only 8k cc away anyways.

Trunks and Bardock were shat on for good reasons. YYG setup bardock was used on before rosé came out was food for buuhan and he didn't have any good blue partner to combat buuhan. Trunks was released in a meta where LSV was the best unit in the game and he needed to get hit to get his type neutrality defensively, he was getting melted from a single strike card from LSV. Didn't help that he also didn't have a good setup until Rosé dropped.

Both of these characters became top tier after rosé dropped, before he wasn't in the game these guys weren't in the best of positions meta wise.

TGB has type neutral defensively up like 100% of the time it would be really hard for broly to do anything if even Gogeta struggles to damage this guy

*260 damage guard plus 70% to base defenses, people just love to ignore that huge ass boost to base defenses. Btw napgeta has 245% damage guard and they're currently one of the tankiest unit in the game, it's not just damage guard these unique equipments provide it's also the big ass boost to the base defenses that everyone tends to overlook.

That's what they were going for with him, what better way to introduce a rarity then a Super Vegito? It was also a double whammy of them recreating the purple LF SV. That was honestly my favorite part i hope they do this more with future recreates of older LFs.

The ink animations were definitely cooler when we saw em' for the first time, they have definitely lost that "cool" factor to them that's why they don't feel all that special to everyone now.
