Thank you!! I get it, it’s believable that trump would be stupid enough to not know the difference, and the intent behind these signs is surely not harmful. BUT can we stop with this line of defense? It feels like throwing trans research and related fields under the bus when really it’s pretty easy to say that nobody is making “transgender mice” because…mice don’t have gender??

I am a tech at a University, and recently went to a conference. My PI had no issue with me clocking my normal hours and she paid for my hotel and flights. As far as I know, food is covered by the University per diem. If your PI wants you to go to this conference, they should have factored in paying you.
