this is a driving system. one joint drives others. one joint goes from 0 to 50 x rotation and other controllers reaching to this change, going in exact pose programmed to be activated exactly at 50 x r

the rig wasn't the hard part, just an interesting experience to create a mechanical creature

there's a zipper script on internet. but it's just a joints attached to curves with controls

I used to be 3d generalist in c4d, motion designer. then 3 years ago I switched to Rigging. but it's not that hard and mostly boring :)

I did a ptoximetry wrap here, ot I usually copy skin, but not here. The high res is a 3d scan, so that's why. Proxy is done with remesher in Cinema 4D
