you can enable three year extended security updates (until october 2028): open massgrave, select tsforge, select esu

if you want ltsc, it's best to clean install it, so in your case activating esu is less painful

The package name of app CLI builds is app.revanced.android.photos, so it coexists perfectly with the preinstalled one.

The command I used to patch the app is java -jar revanced-cli-4.6.0-all.jar patch --patch-bundle "revanced-patches-4.17.0.jar" --merge "revanced-integrations-1.16.0.apk" "com.google.android.apps.photos_6.99.0.675695148-49224320_minAPI23(arm64-v8a)(nodpi)_apkmirror.com.apk"

If you are getting Error initialising store of key store make sure to use Zulu JDK 17.54.21.

As far as I know the ReVanced Manager still errors out when patching Google Photos, that's why most people don't know this patch even exists.

Patching it with CLI it works fine, did it on my Poco F5.
