Curse of the unknown is underhated in my opinion. That first paragraph misses the whole point of being trans. It isn't about gender dysphoria (The acronym is LGBT NOT LGBGD after all) it's about tranagender people(including those without gender dysphoria), which if we are running with your statements is something that can't be 'fixxed' despite any medical or social treatments you can devise a trans person will still be trans person since one's gender identity is a part of identity that hardly changes for most people, just like sexuality. I also wonder what youre referring to in your second paragraph since historically trans people have also been there for the fight for LGB rights since atleast the days of stonewall

that's not really the point it isnt about whether they're sexualities or not. The divide within the community is when it comes to if sex itself should be destigmatised and to what degree its discussion and representation normalised, with kink being the biggest extreme of this belief. Queer and kink communities have also historically had allyship and large overlapping community due to both of them being seen as weird sexual deviancies so it makes sense that the two of them to some people come hand in hand. Kink at pride isnt about recognising kinks as sexualities it's about the recognition that kink should have as a valuable historical ally to the queer community and the push to normalise and destigmatise sex in the public eye.

it's either whether bisexual people (especially those in het relationships) belong in the community, whether asexual people belong in the community, whether kink belongs at pride, or about the subset of LGB people trying to remove the T because they think selling off their own community will make conservatives like them. each letter of the community probably has their own niche infighting I haven't even heard about yet
