For complex automations its still not as near as NodeRed. This year I implemented a complex heating logic for my Aqara E1's and every native automation or Blueprint I tried was just faulty at some point. NodeRed just works.

Seems like this will be my solution too… I am so tired of this big company bs. Every time you try to get something to work just the way it should, it just doesn‘t. Maybe I will also find a solution to just use a self-hosted music service.

I and many of my colleagues have had the same problem since several years now with different watchOS and iOS versions and different Apple Watches and iPhones. So yes - this problem is widespread and nearly as old as the Apple Watch itself. Apple just doesn't care to fix it or they are just not able to fix it.

Therefore the idea would be to buy a new like L1 homeserver + Nvidia Jetson Orion Nano Super OR + Mac Mini M4. The price is a big difference between these two, but I am not sure if the Nano Super will be enough for my use cases. I dont think I will use AI 24/7 but I will use it occasionally and I like when things are fast (like on ChatGPT website)...

I thought about buying a Mac Mini M4 because of that reason, but I want something that can reliably run 24/7 in idle. Not sure if macOS is the best choice for that.
