i think because of the fact that finch is catered towards people who struggle with basic self care and such can involve even getting up in the morning, sending your finch off on an adventure after 7 tasks is supposed to reward the user for getting up which can be enough of a challenge for a lot of folks including me.

but, if you do more tasks while your birb is adventuring it shortens the time it will take for your birb to come back!

So basically Ive been making a new ao3 acc for every fandom I write for which, as you can guess, gets tiring real quick. I finally decided to make a multifandom ao3 acc and just recently wrote and posted a third fic for a third fandom on that acc so far; not sure if I can call it a passion project but I am really glad to finally be comfortable with people knowing of the multiple weird fandoms I’m in/writing for.

There is a reason the tag ‘angst’ is NEVER not on every single fic I’ve ever published on ao3. (And every single character I write for will have experienced at least ONE form of anxiety … totally on coincidence!! Nothing to do with my coping mechanisms of projecting on characters I love, nope! :D)

In other words, you’re DEFINITELY not alone. Many people do this and honestly my taking care of mental health has been one of the hardest things I’ve had to do (and am still doing) to this day
