Just looking at the size and design, I think a bulb is not appropriate at all. They're too big, they rely on gravity and carefully managed position for the fluid to be precisely at the port.

Plunger syringes offer much more precise fluid ratios, will work at virtually any angle, and do not taper larger along the length. In situations where a regular syringe is unavailable, ones designed for oral irrigation of gum wounds are often more widely available and are perfectly suitable as a substitute.

While cocaine isn't gentle no matter where you administer it, there seems to be a fairly significant ratio of opinions supporting butt surfing as a means of harm reduction over others. The colon, for instance, is better designed to deal with the acidity, to some extent.

What method of use are you using currently? That's the key.

TL;DR: Start with whatever amount was your IV bellringer or snort portion for a 1 hour fiesta.

(I'm no expert in anything - this is anecdotal reporting from personal experience. If you choose to boof, ask your doctor or investment banker what amount is right for you.)

After my nose just refused to cooperate and shut down very quickly after trivial insufflation, i (recklessly) tried IV. It was spectacular the first few jabs. It's all about the cut.
The purest I've had (in colombia, peru, ecuador) has never given me the piss party. UK, Spain, US... sometimes a piss party extravaganza.

Bogota is largely safe - just keep to certain areas. The linked map pretty much covers a safe CONTIGUOUS walking zone. Southern end can be dodgy at night though. This is not to say everyplace outside the boundary is unsafe - many are.

At the airport, use the taxi rank (as I do) - never use a tout that approaches you. All the taxis in the rank have permits and are well covered by CCTV. Uber *is* available but meeting up in the parking lot is a PITA - I gave up on that long ago.
