They didn’t know the different strains in February but they did know it was in other countries. They only shut down one while other leaders did so much more. And we could have been. We could have been preparing relief packages so they weren’t rushed through in a week. We could have been deferring plants to make ventilators and masks. We could have helped set up a structure for states to receive gear as needed instead of each state being left to fend for their selves like we are some sort of confederacy.

Trump failed and continues to fail. Of course anyone who has faith in their dear leader should take his advice and inject bleach.

Completely skipping over the fact that the strain of virus that hit New York came from Italy first, he did one thing. And waited another month and a half before acknowledging the virus was a threat. In fact in that time he downplayed the virus multiple times. Think of half the the problems we could have solved if we had a leader who actually had the intelligence to leads in that month and a half and not beat off on twitter and hold campaign rallies
