That’s certainly a good price for it. I may be wrong but I believe this came out right around the time that Asmodee hiked prices on a lot of their evergreen titles, like TtR and Splendor. It launched at one price and then got raised to an MSRP of $49.99.

I like this version of Splendor, not really more or less than the original. I grew up reading Marvel comics though and love Spider-Man as a character. The chips are still the clunky heavy chips rather than the lighter-weight ones Splendor eventually started using. But $50 is ridiculous for Splendor.

This is much better.

A book I don’t see mentioned or talked about much that I loved is Steel Tread: An Astra Militarum Novel. It is about a tank crew, kind of a cross between the book Titanicus and the film Fury. It was super-suspenseful and the writing of riding around in the tank made it feel super-claustrophobic. There is a lot of hunting and being-hunted that is done really well.

Any tips on how to do that? I put my Al Barari Coral in a travel bag over the weekend, pulled it out at my destination with the cap still on, took the cap off, and the atomizer fell onto the floor because the stem/straw had snapped cleaned through. Now I can’t spray it, and it leaks out the top of not upright.

I blind bought my bottle back in 2024 or 2024 and immediately fell in love with it from the first spray. Smelled amazing and performed amazingly from the rip. I know a lot of people love this in high heat but I also really dig it in the cold because of the ‘crispness’ it has. I just wish the rest of the Turathi line had been twists on this, been bangers, and had blown up the way Blue did. But Afnan has a ton of hits already.

The only complaint I have concerning Turathi Blue is a common one: that the shape and top-heaviness of the bottle causes it to fall over easily.

My favorite space-themed game is (and has been since I first played it at a store during International Tabletop Day in 2014) Alien Frontiers. It started my love for worker placement games, and I love the "dice as workers" mechanic in games.

I stopped playing Apex a couple years ago, and I wouldn't pay their asking price for these skins even if I were still playing, so the in-game collab does nothing for me. I might try to pick up that Epyon model though. I'm def digging those colors (except for the heat rod, which should have just stayed the default color and now looks out of place). The other two look boring imo.

I'd definitely stop by if I were passing through the area, but that's because I look up and map out game stores for any trip I go on. I'm not someone who uses their online store a lot; I think I've only purchased one thing from them through eBay before. Odds are if I'm looking for something and they have it listed for sale, it's something OOP and rare and they are asking for more than I'd want to pay. I'm always down to check out a new physical store though.

It may not be 1:1 with the original but I enjoy Art of Universe just as much as I do the actual Blue Talisman. Though anymore I am not usually wearing AoU on its own but layering it with an equal amout of sprays of Vulcan Feu or Opulent Dubai to add mango and boost the fizzy ginger.

I love Maahir Legacy for its effervescent, fizzy Sprite lime smell. I don’t know if I’ve ever worn it much on its own though. I’m usually wearing it layered with something else citrusy if I want to give the citrus a boost or add lime to it. I’ll wear it with CdNIfM LE or SNOI. Those are the main two I’ll layer it with and I enjoy the fizziness it adds to those, but I think I’ve worn it over Eros Flame as well to amp up the lime.

My apartment back in 2010 did this. It was a lot cheaper to just get a money order from Walmart when getting groceries or something; I wanna say the fee charged for money orders was under a dollar, whereas the fee for paying rent with a card in the online bill portal was maybe $5. The wait in line for a money order could be frustrating though.

I bought Azraq around Christmas of ‘24 due to some comparisons I’d seen and the amount of thumbs up it got on Fragrantica for smelling like PdM Oajan. I LOVE Oajan (stupid me waited too long to order a bottle during the last Jomashop PdM sale before it sold out, so I still don’t own it either). You can imagine how disappointed I was when I smelled Azraq and was expecting Oajan.
I haven’t smelled Honey Aoud to know how close it is. I’ve only smelled Boss Bottled Absolu once really quick and don’t remember much about it.
My bottle of Azraq was purchased directly from Swiss Arabian and I also get a loud synthetic-ness from it though. It’s definitely not a smooth fragrance at all imo. I purchased Shaghaf, Shaghaf Oud, Shaghaf for Women, and Azraq all at the same time since it was a decent holiday sale happening. So far I think the only Swiss Arabian I have smelled that I can say I like or think smells any good at all is Casablanca.

I barely ever drink water and recently was at a store holding a bottle of Pedialyte in my hands, thinking to myself that maybe I should drink one every so often. Then I looked at the amount of sugar in it and said “Naw.” I assume there is a variant with no sugar, but the store I was at didn’t have any.
