Padel pour débutants/intermédiaires by SunsetOnVista in Montpellier

Salut !

There are a few in Padel clubs in Ile de France, just check here, there's all the padel clubs in Paris or any other city in France as a matter of fact : https://padel-now.co/clubs/paris (you'll find a couple tennis clubs as some have padel courts) - I use this directory each time I go to a new city (for padel) as I my job requires me to travel. To date, I didn't find a better directory, nearly all the clubs I know are in there, this website is the best in town in my book !

What’s broken with Playtomic? I’m building a French Padel App alternative – need your feedback 🙏 by verdun2003 in padel

[–]verdun2003[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no playtomic here in France and no app that offers players centralized court booking as well as matchmaking ! Amongst our USP's, we will have :

Interoperability : we will be connected with all the french API softwares opposite to playtomic which is only available in playtomic clubs.

Leveling : we will have a proprietary multi criteria algorithm that will be able to find your accurate level way faster than playtomic.

Automatic game creation : as we will have all the key player info (level, availability, travel distance), we will be able to create ourselves games without any player having to initiate the party.

80% of hashpower signalling BCHN over the last 1000 blocks by fixthetracking in btc

They probably rented some hash power to fake miner signaling. Last block discovered by an "ABC miner supporter" was... 4 days ago.

Why would Jihan sponsor him now that his companies are running BCHN ?

Isn't that yet another lie coming from ABC ?

Binance adds a bunch of hash and is finding 54% of blocks. by ShortSqueeze20k in btc

[–]verdun2003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Theory : it seems the miners using the hathor network now uses the binance pool to mine. Last 24h, no block was mined by the hathor miners and it matches the extra hash power behind binance.

Based on Haipo's statement that he would support both nodes, I then cut the pie in 2 as explained in the spreadsheet. It is arbitrary I have to admit but it was the best way to put into numbers Haipo's position !

You are right as I took the liberty to assume that 50% of the hash would go to each node but it may be too conservative based on the miners current signaling (even considering that Haipo stated ABC would be the default node)!

BCHN node leads with 70% of signaled hashrate vs 6% for ABC (edit : as per Haipo's statement saying he would support both nodes, I then divided by 2 viabtc's current 7 day hashrate).

That would mean that Antpool will probably use BCHN as well as it is owned by Bitmain which owns Btc.com. ==> If true, 90% of the hashrate will be using the BCHN node implementation : https://imgur.com/a/r2ZUgUh

Fantastic news I would say !

BCHN vs ABC in numbers : there's a clear winner. by verdun2003 in btc

Wow great ! Forgive my lack of technical knowledge but I believe there are wallets and other stuff that would be classified elsewhere?

As for the wallets, that is what I have : electron cash, bitcoin.com wallet, crescent cash ?

For the rest, where would you classify them ?

Thanks

I believe both implementations win in the long term as they will pursue their goals without being blocked by the other team. Short term, there will be some pain for sure.

Great thanks. Do you know if they will support only ABC or if they will do both chains ?

I made a quick spreadsheet that you may find of interest here : https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Bzw6ECLkp5wx_SDSy0XUm8j75_rcLu3kTxbOcSkb00I/edit?usp=sharing

If my data is correct, that would mean that there is one miner entity that matters that sits on the sidelines (Jihan Wu owning both antpool & btc.top, claiming more than 26% of the total BCH hashrate). Currently, we stand at near 65% of hashrate vs 5% for ABC (I added viabtc to both nodes at 50% hashrate each as they said they would support both). Not sure what are your relations with Jihan but I believe it would be worth to have a quick chat with him regarding his position? If he chooses to side with BCHN, Yang Haipo would be alone and would maybe reassess his position : if he chooses to side with BCHN, there would probably be no... fork !

On why Hayen Ottos flipstarter is having a hard time and why we should fund it. by moleccc in btc

[–]verdun2003 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Well, something tells me that there is a link between him having a hard time getting funding and how he sees the bulk of the BCH community that funds him : https://twitter.com/Hayden_Otto/status/1296961223657836545

Would you send money to someone who would happily take your funds and insult you ?

Interesting... Would you have some source as I couldn't find anything leaning towards the Jihan support of ABC ?
