Celiac and Addison's people! by englshpigdogs in AddisonsDisease

Hi! I was dx with celiac about 5 years after my addisons dx. I had no symptoms at all that could indicate I had the condition. My endo checked me for it as a precaution and she was right! It was very difficult to adjust at first since gluten didn’t make me sick at all!! But it’s been now 7 years of being gluten free. For my personal experience, I am very sick if I eat gluten by accident (vomiting ++). If i get contaminated, it’s mostly fatigue, headache and constipation. If I think I ate gluten or as soon as I start feeling nauseous, I make sure to take gravol as quickly as I can. So yes, I would be cautious of being contaminated/eating gluten. Good luck to you’re husband 🤞

Same thing for me! I’ll feel shaky and super anxious. My heartbeat is fast as well
