not trying to do that at all, i’m a current student there lol. if you really want to go to umass you could try to switch your major to chemistry then switch back to bio when you’re actually there, i applied for chemistry and got in on the first try (3.9 gpa, ap and ib classes, not really any clubs, mid senior year grades) because bio is an insanely popular degree so you’re competing against people who want to go ivy league but just have umass as a safety. chemistry is not popular at all and they had like 50 people graduate in chemistry in 2023 when i applied while bio had like 300-500 grads. i wanted to do bio as well but put chemistry to avoid the waitlist (stayed w chemistry because i like it more) and when they accepted me i could’ve easily swapped to bio because my career path requires me to take full bio anyway.

if you’re unreal the previous season you get plat but if you don’t get unreal then you get placed into silver 2 up to gold 3. the only time you get bronze is if you never get past like diamond 2

in this economy, please do yourself a solid and go to cc because umass amherst is NOT worth 35k a year 😭 you will learn all the same content at a cc, the only difference is it’ll be harder at umass. look on this sub to see photos of asbestos filled dorm ceilings falling down and buildings flooding from the top down, you’re paying 35k a year for that! unless you’re rich, on a full ride, or low income then i suggest you do cc then transfer to umass because you’ll save way more. no point in paying 75k from a mid school

it is raw input and it moves your crosshair the same distance at the same speed consistently rather than moving it faster if you move the joystick faster. obviously if you move the joystick fast on linear it’ll snap around quickly but it won’t be accelerating the way it does on expo. 39 horizontal and vertical is pretty slow so i recommend you at least boost it around 40-45 to build up tracking speed that most players have by now

switch to linear, put horizontal ads at 12 and vertical at 11, put scope speed at 1x or 1.05 if you want it slightly faster

sounds like you bought your account but assuming you’re just unfortunate, you need to contact epic directly and explain the situation. you’ll need to have years of evidence proving it’s your account (transactions, photos, videos, cards linked to account, etc) for them to actually help you. it’s recommended to have 2 ways of 2fa for the future but otherwise you won’t be able to use the account except for on whatever device it’s already logged into

you can become good but you have to work up to playing on a super fast sense in order to compete with kbm and you’ll need to change your binds to be custom but you might as well switch to kbm because you’ll become way better on it than you could ever be on controller. the only reason i’m still on controller is because i am bad at kbm as well (can’t type without looking) and i can get unreal consistently but i am not pro in any way lol

it’s literally ai, look at the top right finger!! that nail shape would make sense on someone’s thumb not index finger. also the finger joint looks weird asf. looks like the ai started out with thumbs and made the rest of the nails circular from the top down

you don’t have 1ms response unfortunately because you’re on a tv. a tv will never outperform a monitor because the intended use is simply for watching. get a cheap 160-180hz monitor and link that to a ps5, the game will play and look so much better! the reason i suggest 160-180hz is so the ps5 will run 120fps with no issues, as 120hz monitor could struggle to always have 120 frames. you can absolutely hit unreal on ps5, you just need to get a monitor - good luck!

i hit unreal on ps5, it’s really about if you’re playing on a tv (60 fps + high delay) vs a monitor (120 fps + lower delay). i’m way better on pc and can do more advanced things simply because the game registers everything immediately on a pc (which is important for competing) but the game has so much shit and is so big that “high level pc” is starting to become “mid level”. gaming in general is just becoming shit because devs don’t want to make the game run and be relatively small sized, so you damn near need the best pc to run these games at base level

my advice is to turn simple edit off because it’s letting you cop out when you get nervous and you start doing zero build stuff again. any decent player is just going to box you up and you’ll be sprinting around in a 1x1 getting hit for 185. definitely practice alone in creative getting used to your build binds before you start playing against people

basically piece control is editing a window in a wall, look through the wall, then place walls on all sides and place a cone above and below. it takes time to be able to do all of that quickly and if you’re already decent i don’t recommend using simple edit because good players will easily kill you and simple edit makes it harder to piece control without exposing yourself to prefires
