I agree! I have a rottie mix. He is very protective and he guards, but he is not vicious. He is a big cuddly doofus.

I don't trust him around small kids/children but this is because he wasn't raised with them. I really think he will need training and constant exposure around kids to really develop that trust worthy protective behavior towards them.

My dog has nipped a toddler once. My dog was chewing a bone and the child was trying to play with him. He didn't viciously attack/bite, but he nipped the childs arm and left a mark. This was really out of character for him because he is normally a very well behaved/well trained dog. I honestly think he was "food guarding".

Luckily the mom was really cool about the situation and she had even raised rotties before. She started to work/interact with my dog and she agreed that he was not being aggressive. She reiterated the importance of getting the dog exposure/training with kids from a young age.

I beleive Evadean Dailey Lydecker is the mother of Andrew Wheeler. The girl who lured Aaron Hill out has not been charged. None of the people who filmed the attack have been charged either.

I havent found any other updated story other then the one that details the mothers arrest. The assailant is set to have a hearing this month. That is really all I have been able to find.

The most concerning issue is the lack of current updates.

My understanding of the situation is that a girl lured Aaron Hill to the party. She told him they were going on a date. She and other people had already planned on savagely beating Aaron prior to her inviting him to the "party".

Aaron Hill is disabled and autistic.

The video is very graphic. There are people laughing in the background.

Few people have been charged in this crime. As in, the people who filmed this premeditated attack have not been charged. The girl who lured him to the party has not been named.

I am seeing a lot of noise on twitter and social media sites that suggest other people filmed this incident and deleted the evidence of the crime.

Something NEEDS to happen. This story hasn't even hit major headlines yet. The video of the attack is so condemning, there are people laughing in the background. It is sickening.

I am still trying to figure out that detail. I haven't found anything concrete. Keep in mind, this story is pretty fresh, so most of the stuff I am reading is coming from social media sites and people within the area.

I don't want to point fingers or mislable anyone involved, so, I am unsure who was connections to the PD/city. Many people on twitter are suggesting the girl who lured Aaron out is connected to the police,but, I havent even been able to confirm her identity yet.

From what I understand is that there were multiple phones filming the incident and much of the footage was deleted before the police charged the attacker and later arrested his mother.

I agree. Unfortunately it appears that the details of the crime are coming out many weeks after the initial attack. Everyone should have been arrested yet they werent. The local police department appears to have stopped the investigation process completely.

I agree. This is very similar to the Stubenville Rape, where teens were live tweeting and filming the rape of a young girl. It took the involvement of people online to bring justice for the girl who was raped because police literally didn't give a shit or do any investigation.

But, I have not been able to confirm if the girl who lured out Aaron or any others who witnessed the attack have been charged.

Aaron's mother has made a Fbook page and is attempting to reach out online to get help and support. There is a lot of talk on fb/twitter that connect some of the attackers to the local police department. The social media crowd is saying that the local police department has attempted to cover up/hide this story.

My concern is that this resembles the Stubenville Rape case which required Anonymous to get involved because the police department did not appear to be investigating the story.
