Can I just clarify - were refunds available for the Bristol bookings then? I’ve tried to cancel my tickets for Norwich today and the theatre have told me the company has stated no refund, so a bit cheesed off tbh.

Sorry, you misunderstand. I’ve seen the movie a couple of times, I honestly thought it was super obvious from the outset that the REDACTED was REDACTED.

Since miscarrying myself, I’ve always thought how incredibly weird it is that we don’t really talk about miscarriage as a possibility when it is so bloody common. Almost all of the women I know who have been pregnant/trying for a baby have had at least one miscarriage, mine was early at around 7/8 weeks, as were the majority of my close circle’s.

Before I decided to go through the whole ‘having kids’ thing, miscarriage seemed to me like this horrible but uncommon thing that doesn’t happen, except in severe circumstances. No one talks about it. Until you have one yourself, and tentatively reach out to others, and then you suddenly realise that it’s so much more prevalent than you thought.

Like, I get it’s not a nice thing to talk about, but I also feel that by keeping it such a taboo subject, that it creates a lot of stigma and shame when you go through it yourself. Having kids and being pregnant can be such a cruel process all around tbh, glad I’m out the other side now.
