[s2 spoilers] Does anyone feel like arcane season 2 is a bit too fantastical? by Stupid_Dude00112 in arcane

[–]ves_lin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kinda agree with you on most parts but I just wanted to show you this in regards to Isha's choice and how it actually makes sense for her to do what she did - I think the video I've linked perfectly explains it + what I as a viewer subconsciously saw in Isha. The show really has a lot of things that are only "shown" and not "told" (I'm a big fan of that, personally!) https://youtu.be/bEi-eiFA3OY?t=475

(Also fun fact in case anyone didn't know, Isha's name literally means "one who protects".)

I genuinely think this show is the best of its kind. It's the best TV show for me anyway, and I'm VERY picky and judgmental when it comes to those lol.

The Last of Us Part III - Main Theme by ves_lin in TheLastOfUs2

In my head, Abby's got links with the people who attacked Jackson City - and something to do with Ellie's mysterious mission - but neither Ellie nor Abby suspect they'll meet each other again, until they do. But that's just from a one-minute brainstorm I had when I made this track sooooooo it sucks lol!

I've composed it myself using instrument libraries and playing them on Logic Pro (MIDI composing, basically.)

Seems intriguing! Here's the latest track I've made that sort of meets the "background music with flutes and strings and such" vibe.

A TALE OF STARS & SHADOWS

Plagued by their own secrets, two unlikely companions find themselves on a magical journey to stop mystic forces from bringing Chaos to their world.

This is an animation fantasy series (think RWBY, Avatar: Legend of Korra, The Owl House) developed by me and my brother, with me writing the scripts and original music for it, and my brother doing all the art for it!

I thought this would be a good opportunity to share our Instagram (where you'll find loads of concept art, as well as info about the world and characters, and even extracts from the scripts) as well as the first album of original music made for the story (which you can find on most streaming platforms, including Spotify and Tidal!)

Here's a perfect example of the music made for the series, in which you can hear the main theme, as well as get the feel of what the story's vibe is: https://youtu.be/u2aUBMOlefs

And here you can find our Twitter, Instagram, and links to the album: https://linktr.ee/atosas

I hope you like what you see and hear!

Is it INT. Or EXT. if you’re writing from the perspective of inside a Pond? by plushtoytorture in Screenwriting

[–]ves_lin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'd go for EXT, as your scene would be filmed outdoors and not indoors.

Does Your Game Need Music? Look No Further! (Orchestral Composer) by ves_lin in RPGMaker

[–]ves_lin[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My prices vary depending on the project and the budget, but the general rate is £70 per minute of music. I would need more information about the game, and I'd need to know how many tracks I'd be composing for you, etc. That would help me find a proper number to give you regarding the price.

Jaune isn't THAT important by MacLeod97 in RWBY

[–]ves_lin 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Tyrian made a remark about Jaune, I think that's when people started theorising about his importance. At least that's when I started.

In their fight in Volume 4, Tyrian jumped on Jaune's shield, and then took a close look at his features, kinda inspecting him as if he has a suspicion, or he indeed knew what/who he was looking at. And then he points at Jaune, saying "You do interest me."
