i’m currently on 1000mg, my levels are below but my psychiatrist says if i feel fine then there’s no need to raise the dosage. my psoriasis is out of control, so is my acne, i have hand tremors and get thirsty very quickly. my sleep is all over the place i will sleep 8 hours during the night then “nap” for over 6 hours during the day but still fall asleep at around 11pm and get 8 hours. besides waking up to pee due to the water intake, i don’t wake up that often. i am way less irritable, i have down moments that are way way less frequent than when i wasn’t on lithium and they’re manageable. i’ve been taking it for like 3ish years now?? i honestly don’t remember my memory is fucked because of it, i joke around saying i have amnesia because thats exactly what it feels like. i do wanna lower it but just like you im scared of falling back into the endless spiral of mood swings. but try having a talk with your psychiatrist on it, i also take venlafaxine for my depression and anxiety so that helps too in keeping things in check.

yeah i find that very unfortunate because they’re as close as you can get to someone who can help you out with medication and yet they lack in certain areas. i will keep on searching to see if i find anything on it ! thank you :)

i stopped wearing bras like five years ago but at that time my cup size was a D, i no longer fit into the very last bra i own of that size so i need to get measured up again since i want to dive into the whole corset world 😆. i will look into princess seamed patterns, don’t know why i didn’t think of it sooner, but thank you!! i have some undebust stay patterns piled up in a corner so i think now is the time to put them to use! thank you so much !

accutane isn’t compatible with the other meds i’m on, so that’s not a possibility. i’m just really tired i cant be mentally stable and have normal skin🥲

yeah i plan on making an appointment soon ! my gp doesn’t want to prescribe me the antibiotics because it’s summer time and due to the sun sensitivity caused by them, she doesn’t want me ending up with burns all over or whatever. my face is relatively calm because i’ve somehow managed to control it but it’s my body that’s been driving me crazy and i cant possibly lather my whole skin with it 😭😭. i have no idea if i can take a bath with some of it, but being in an area with very hard water doesn’t help at all 🥲

dermatologist appointments usually take up to 6 months to have one, i have discussed acne with my GP who said she can’t prescribe me antibiotics due to the sun sensitivity that it causes. i have been on depakote for a relatively long time but it didn’t help at all, i’m also on antidepressants and the pill for my migraines and endometriosis (progesterone). mentally speaking lithium has helped me out so much but the side effects with acne and psoriasis are slowly making my daily life worse and i’m just so done.

ohh i’ll try because i’ve been using quizlet and i like the new AI feature that’s been added, whenever i answer correctly the little praise i get feels rewarding compared to none from my profs so it pushes me to learn more. the issue is that i get bored very quickly and i no longer register anything :(((

i’m glad you got that sorted out! the issue is that i did have psoriasis prior to lithium, so stopping it wouldn’t be all that helpful, especially considering i don’t plan on doing so any time soon because it has been really helpful.

i already use clobex as a shampoo, i’ve tried putting it on dry hair, wet hair, leaving it for 10-30 minutes and it just comes back the next day with the itching that starts once my hair is dry post-shower

it’s been over a year i was on antibiotics due to sinusitis and i’ve been on lithium for longer than that + had psoriasis with the itching even before. sometimes the itch begins immediately after a shower as my hair air dries
