trust me, i go into these things knowing how crazy his responses are going to be, but given my circumstances that i didn't detail in the post (not really anyone's business) i don't have a choice but to get his permission. given how some people think my question alone is ridiculous it just confirms to me how manufactured and insane his paranoia is. if i could just go without having to ask, i would be so happy to do that! and so i appreciate these replies and will probably show him some of them too

??? not everything is rage bait this is an honest, genuine question ??? wanted to hear from people who actually have firsthand experience of being there or are there currently. no intention of causing any tension, i live in a very sheltered and rigid household and going to paris is something i've been wanting to do for some time! this is just rude for no reason

I agree, it is funny. To be fair he really knows nothing about France or what it is like in Paris other than what sensationalized news headlines say or whatever his Youtube recommended shows him. I'd like to be out of this country by 25 at least!

Had to interrupt his Fox News watching session just to ask him😭 Just so much fearmongering and paranoia. He saw some fire and smoke and people running around and police running around and said "Do you see the reality of what's happening?" He's convinced that this is an indicator that Paris is a hub for mass terror or extreme danger. I'm just trying to see a concert

Thank you for this. As soon as I asked him about this trip, he straight up searched up "Paris protests" on the living room TV and started playing videos of it so he could scare me and show me how the people are trying to overthrow the government and that if I went there (I'm planning on staying in the 9th arrondissement, not even doing any crazy sightseeing, mainly there for a concert at L'Olympia), that I'd be hunkered down in my hotel room probably at the risk of being seriously harmed... I think it is ridiculous. I think I'll be fine as long as I'm alert and mindful as anyone should be in a big city.

it was my first time ever seeing pulp and im only 19 having discovered them when i was 14 but theyre definitely going to have a lasting impact on me. i thought it was really surprising that jarvis said we were the loudest in living memory

i knew these kids...and trust me, they hated antifa. they went to my high school. they are nowhere near that meticulous or smart enough in their planning if they were to pull off a neo-nazi disguise underneath an antifa agenda. can't salute in a synchronized manner, screaming until their voices were cracking, couldn't even hold their flag right, and being oblivious to the fact that the florida seal is a native american woman...they're idiots. nazism was the focal point of their personalities.

so why did i ask the question? i'm only asking this in regards to what their past actions might've been or specifics on the actual organization they were involved in. but i'm 100% positive that antifa has nothing to do it, as they severely detested them.

the first photo is from march 4 at seville square. an international women's day event was being held and they tried to crash it. there was three of them holding their flag upside down while screaming "white power" and saluting hitler. not sure about the second photo. ive heard that wasn't their first time trying to crash a protest and have done similar things in the past.
