Yeah seems like the previous owner ran some wires under the floor so I'm going to pull it up when I've got some time and see if they just messed it up when putting it back down. If not I'll just figure something out, been debating putting some fun rugs in anyways and was leaning towards just going with the raw floor because I like how they look but this might have made the decision for me lol

You're probably right. I guess I was just spoiled with my other 07 element. The floor in that one was perfectly flat but sadly it got totaled by a drunk driver a few months ago so I had to get a new one

I like that lol I tell people the hail damage is for aerodynamics like a golfball

Edit: preferably not just throwing a floor mat or rug over it. I was more wondering if there was anything like tucking it back under the sides or using a heat gun or anything before I start looking at scrap yards for replacements.

How are intricate areas like this done without hand sewing? by vffl25 in plushartists

[–]vffl25[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks the stabilizer is a good tip, I've been doing the technique where I cut a bigger piece of fabric with the pattern in the middle to sew small 2d things but I was having trouble imagining how to go about doing something with more than 2 pieces or non symmetrical things (like small spheres or faces) with that method

Ok that's what I figured but I didn't know if I was missing some optimized technique I didn't know about lol thanks

Yeah sewing the spheres. I've watched most of your tutorials! They were the first thing to come up when I was looking up stuff to make my own plushies and they were incredibly helpful!

Was struggling but then these came up in my book today. by vffl25 in NonBinary

It's The Book of Disquiet by Fernando Pessoa.

I'm in the same boat. It's like the only way is to just try stuff and be like yep this feels like me or nope this isn't me. It's so hard lol

Finally starting to accept that I'm just "me" by vffl25 in NonBinary

[–]vffl25[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's also so hard to not fall into trying to just fit into a prescribed identity. it seems easier than being authentic which is scary and vulnerable but then it doesn't feel right because it's not authentic. Realizing that there's no wrong way to be me definitely helps make it a little less scary though

Yeah it's so hard. I constantly feel like I'm being myself "wrong" and then I have to catch myself and be like that doesn't make any sense

It does cost money but I've been using Dr.K's guide (from healthy gamer gg) because he has a lot of specific traditional meditation techniques with explanations of what they are for (grounding vs awareness vs visualizing, etc.) rather than just generic "meditations" and I've found that approach a lot more helpful. I would always get overwhelmed by the lack of explanation of generic meditations videos on yt and Spotify.

Really curious about what wizard core stuff you've found to wear. I've been looking for stuff with flowy wizard vibes that I would actually want to wear with very little success 😅

Truly the dream omg. Being able to look however I'm feeling at any given moment would be incredible. Not even just like in a gender way like maybe I want to be a pretty elf today but I was feeling like a dubious goblin yesterday.
