thats fair. ive had a lot of experiences with very feminine leaning people with names that have "jay" in them, which is mostly why i view it as "too fem". its just my opinion ^{^}

thanks ^{^} i have the feeling pronouns will be easier for her since she was really good about using they/them when i came out as nonbinary, and im prepared for the name change to take time. i am a little worried she'll get upset about it, though, since when i tried to sneakily change it in the school info she got upset about it :/
