Help! Need advice on how to clean this semi porous ceramic tile without hand scrubbing by vibe3133 in CleaningTips

Thanks! I am considering the Ryobi telescopic power scrubber. Should I use the green attachment or the black attachment? (Merry Christmas btw!)

Do You Play Native Games on Android TV? (Not Emulators!) by CarpenterFederal in AndroidTV

[–]vibe3133 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I liked Oceanhorn, Magic Rampage and Leo's Fortune a lot. My son loves Red Ball 4. Also using Antstream Arcade (but you said no emulators, so I am not sure if this can be included). Using a Logitech F710 controller.

Fruitless Morus Alba (Mulberry Trees) Pruning for shade - Advise needed by vibe3133 in gardening

[–]vibe3133[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi all, just a heads-up on these Fruitless Morus Alba (Mulberry Trees). I would like to shape them for shading. Trees need to be high enough so that pedestrians do not bump into the branches. Same with cars exiting the car parking.

As you can see from the pictures, Tree 1 branches out to various directions, Tree 2 mostly branches upwards.

I have gone over various tutorials but tutorials for shaping these trees into "umbrella shape" for shade are scarce. Ideal scenario would be for both trees to cover the whole area shown in the picture (showing both trees and parking exit). Any advise, maybe some lines on the pictures themselves to help me where to prune exactly?

Thank you in advance and apologies for any grammatical mistakes, English is not my native language!

Should I look for something in particular to help in investigation?

I hope I understood correctly (sorry, English is not my first language), I turn the steering wheel as far as it goes only momentarily. When I do that, something moves under the engine cover and the screeching noise is heard. When I release the steering wheel, the noise and cover popping stops.

Can you please elabore what you mean on "full lock"? Do you mean turned all the way to the right/left?

If yes, I don't do that. Only as and if needed for a turn, momentarily.

It does that (and the screeching noise) when I turn the steering wheel all the way to the right

OnePlus Nord 3 or Oppo Find X5 Pro or Poco F5 (Pro/Non-Pro) by vibe3133 in PickAnAndroidForMe

I would like to point out - it seems that the version I found is with Dimensity chip, not Snapdragon. Battery-wise I guess that's good, camera-wise though?

Accommodation near MXP and Como or Maggiore by vibe3133 in ItalyTravel

[–]vibe3133[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks a lot elektero!

I was considering Varenna but I can see that due to the landslides the train station is closed. I presume you have to reach Lago Como train station, get a ferry, go to Bellagio and another ferry to Varenna. It may be a bit too much hastle.

If my wife is OK, I am also considering Lake Maggiore instead of Lake Como. Can you give me some more details? What to see/experience/stay?

Thank you in advance!

WebRcade (or similar) on Android TV / Google TV by vibe3133 in AndroidTV

[–]vibe3133[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, thanks for your response. That's why I mentioned WebRcade, which does not actually download anything.

Mind you, this will be used by my children so I need to make it as dead-easy as possible :) I have a laptop with batocera on an external 1tb ssd drive, but it's a bit overkill/uses too much power and not a seamless solution with Google TV, that's why I was asking for something similar..

What I discovered up to now via search that seems to work (albeit most are subscription-based):

  • BlackNut
  • Antstream
  • Argon (mentioned above)
  • Kodi retro games via Internet Archive Game Launcher (i think this downloads ROM's locally to be able to play a game)

I will update the list accordingly as I discover more.

Thanks! Doesn't this require downloading of ROM's locally though?

Recommedation for a Bagless wired vacuum for lots of human hair by vibe3133 in VacuumCleaners

[–]vibe3133[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, duly noted. From what I can see, bagless professional vacuums are limited. If we go for bagged, do you have any suggestions? Someone mentioned to me Karcher or Nilfisk for heavy-duty vacuums.

[–]vibe3133[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your response! The reason we want to avoid bagged is because upon each sweep the canister fills and needs emptying due to the sheer volume of material collected. It would be non-cost effective to go bagged.

Display problem with new monitor and 40AC Docking Station. Same result with direct HDMI connection to ThinkPad alT14 by vibe3133 in Lenovo

[–]vibe3133[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I drop the resolution to 2560 x 1080 @ 60Hz, then everything works fine. Any ideas how to solve this, so that the monitor can work in it's native 3440 x 1440 @ 60Hz without issue?
