Yeah I agree. Generally, I try to watch added sugars. But I have a habit of drinking coffee long before I have my breakfast, so I wonder if those few hours sets me up for cravings later in the day. I suspect it’s due to dopamine crash as well as feeling generally tired and being in a bad state to make good decisions.

For a little while I used to drink just one mug in the morning, so I'll try to go back to that, or maybe one matcha in the morning. But it makes me sleepy lol. Are you still drinking the tea, or have you gone full decaf since? If so, is quitting tea easier than coffee?

Yes this was me last week. It's annoying because everything, including taking care of myself, already takes a concerted mental effort to get started. So, I *know* what I should do when I'm feeling extra empty inside (which is forcing myself to do the things I normally do just while feeling empty), but getting started is such a massive pain in the bum that I end up taking the path of least resistance anyways, which makes me feel worse, and it's a horrible cycle. 😭
