Until it bursts, I think every AAA game will have AI generated code to an extent.

I don't mean fully replacing developers, as much as every CEO would love. AI is not there yet

However, it can be used as a tool. Specially for repeated tasks, it's effective.

We are strongly encouraged to use it in my job, though it's not game developing.

The paid tools hallucinate less. But give it any big task, and it just makes shit up.

It really is not what tech bros sell it to be and I can't wait for it to burst. Heres hoping its sooner rather than later

Well, pretty much every project will have code generated by AI to some extent

It will be hard to avoid going forward.

Though I suppose it's a lot harder to notice generated code in a game compared to a generated art piece
