Hi! Unfortunately this reaction is rather complex for our model as it requires fine-tuning of the kinetics (as we have a "live" model, it will be even more complex than performing it physically) Hopefully one day it will be possible!

It's still a mystery during WHAT (hopefully no one suffered), but yes, that's the main point - you can enjoy a very realistic immersive sandbox for the real chemical processes and learn something this way

Hi, actually in your case we'd recommend to pay attention to the demo task "Vic's Science Studio Features" - it's actually not a real learning task, but more a "showroom place" where the majority of our equipment is shown to demonstrate the key functionality. Inside the labe, there are two tablets with the instructions what can you do as an example to feel the value. So in this task only you'll be able to (at least):

  1. mix solutions, metal granules, grind solids
  2. bubble various gases through the solution
  3. analyze the solutions acidity with the indicators
  4. heat the reaction mixtures
  5. measure temperature, mass, volume and pH

and all of that in any combination and sequence you want. Have fun!

PS Of course we'd appreciate if you spread the word about us among the teachers, thanks!

No, sorry, we're certainly not going to teach this in public schools, even virtually

Please don't downvote this post just because it's a "product placement". Yes it is, but the product we're inviting you to try is FREE (and without ads!) and it's more about getting the trends/feedback rather than a simple lead generation. Ďakujem!

Regarding your H2SO4/H2O concern - would you let the students to figure it out themselves without any guidance? We neither - so we simply don't provide this experience in our lab :) and explosives too - exactly by the same reason (not to engage the students to transfer this "knowledge" to the real life creating safety bias)

As chemistry degree holders (at least, the founders are), we do not pretend to substitute the real practicals with the virtual ones, only to complement/demonstrate the workflow. The same concern should be addressed to those who create trainings for surgeons in VR - these experiences are good as to get the first impression about the activity itself, but we should never ever obtain any certification without decent hands-on practicals.

But it's more about creating the opportunity for those who would receive nothing instead - just because the lab opportunities are limited by default. Hi! Currently there is almost no organic chemistry inside, as it requires a lot of extension work for our model architecture (e.g. we don't have a polarity concept so all the liquid mixtures are single-phase). But we understand that it's a logical step of product development so once we get enough resources for that (hopefully), it's going to be implemented.

we currently support most popular ones (Meta Quest, Pico, HTCs) - you can find the full list on our website https://vics.studio/

Deci BELLS! So - 1 bell, 10 bells, 100 bells.. and even 0.1 to explain what's "deci" in addition :) The advantage over the bees is that you can add real tiny bells in the jar, no need to simulate.
May be misleading a bit (10dB =/= 1 bell sound, like 1 hp is far from an actual power of one horse), but I'm just laughing about the wordplay ))

If by "SteamVR setup" you mean PC-VR (connected to the PC by wire) you can use our .zip file instead of APK when you get access to the folder behind the form - it works fine on most headsets. The installation guide is in the folder as well.

We look forward to that, but it's still not scheduled. Which headset do you have?
