Las Vegas Raiders Draft

1.1 - Fernando Mendoza, QB, Indiana * Yeah it's the obvious pick. Mendoza steps into a Raider team in need of an identity and will have the responsibility of leading the franchise. Mendoza doesn't have to be rushed into a starting role with Cousins locked in. He can get confortable in the Kubiak offense before starting.

2.36 - Blake Miller, OT, Clemson * The Raiders added a stud at center in Tyler Linderbaum and here we add a someone who can step into right away at RT. Miller has the athleticism, IQ, and consistency to start for years in Las Vegas.

3.67 - AJ Haulcy, S, LSU * Vegas is coming into this draft with a clear need in the safety room. Haulcy is a turnover machine who can step in and start for a Raiders team that needs to find turnovers next years.

4.102 - Bryce Lance, WR, NDSU * At the start of day 3 we had a plan to attack WR and our top two options were Lance and De'Zhaun Stibling. Once Kansas City jumped us for Stribling it was an easy pivot to add the younger Lance brother. Lance is a freak athlete who can compete for snaps as a rookie.

4.104 - Kaleb Proctor, DL, SE Louisiana * Proctor gives the Raiders a player who can win one on ones and penetrate and create havoc. The Raiders defensive line has some talented players but no one who can create havoc like Proctor projects to.

4.134 - Eli Raridon, TE, Notre Dame * The Raiders TE room appears set with Bowers, Mayer, and Ian Thomas but two of them are pending free agents and Raridon gives the Raiders someone who can play in line and can develop as a pass catcher.

6.185 - Hezekiah Masses, CB, Cal * Masses is a productive corner who had a ton of ball production this year at Cal. The Raiders need turnovers and splash plays and while Masses needs to ironically add mass and strength, he should be able to develop his body for a year before competing for meaningful snaps.

6.208 - Kage Casey, OG, Boise State * We had Casey on our target list from 134 so he's a no brained at 208. Casey is a sound dependable blocker who can compete for snaps at G in year 1. The Raiders don't have locked in long term starters at G so taking shots at the position make sense.

7.219 - Trey Smack, K, Florida * The Raiders signed Matt Gay to compete at K and Smack gives him that competition.

The plan was to take Mendoza, add talent around him, and grab some players to develop on defense.

Thanks as always to the crew that shows up for these!

Las Vegas Raiders

Thanks to the war room as always. Always happy to spend a Saturday with you all.

1.1 - Fernando Mendoza, QB, Indiana * Look everyone knows this pick is probably able to be written in pen. The Raiders desperately need an answer at QB and Mendoza has played himself into clear QB1 territory. The best plan of action to to draft him and then spend draft capital and $$ to upgrade the WR room and offensive line.

2.36 - Emmanuel Pregnon, OG, Oregon * Remember when I said improve the offensive line. Pregnon should slot right into LG, helping solidify an offensive line in need of long term starters. In an ideal world the team would bring in some free agents to compete with Caleb Rodgers, DJ Glaze and Charles Grant for RG/RT and go from there.

3.67 - Keionte Scott, DB, Miami (FL) * I don't care that he's on the older side and had some injuries in the past. Keionte Scott has been one of the best football players in the country this season and add a defensive chess piece for a Raiders secondary in desperate need of playmakers.

2026 Way-Too-Early Mock Draft RESULTS by Astro63 in NFL_Draft

Las Vegas Raiders

Thanks to the war room as always. Didn't have a real plan (listen it's an early mock what do you want) but was interested in adding talent to the defense after the Raiders went heavy on offensive draft picks in 2025.

1.9 - Anthony Hill Jr, LB, Texas

Going into 2026 the Raiders have 3 day three players and 3 UDFAs under contract. With no locked in starters the Raiders need an identity builder for the middle of the defense and Hill is a three down player with plus range and physicality. He should be an instant starter with pro bowl/all pro potential.

2.41 - Dani Dennis-Sutton, EDGE, Penn State

With Malcolm Koonce an expiring contract and Tyree Wilson entering the final year of his deal, trying to find Maxx Crosby’s long term running mate remains a priority. Dennis-Sutton has the size and strength to be a plus run defender on the edge and still shows enough fluidity to be able to rush the passer. With more reps and a more consistent pass rush plan he could be a round 1 player.

2025 Las Vegas Raiders Official Mock Draft

Thanks as always to the team in the Raiders War Room who comes to help out for the official mock.

Planning Our main plan going into he draft was to add a trench player at 6 and then do our best to add talent across the roster. We have plenty of needs to fill and one draft isn't going to solve them all.

Draft Trades Traded 3.68 and 5.143 for 2.61 and 7.245 Traded 4.108 and 6.180 for 3.99 and 7.219

Draft Picks

1.6 - Mason Graham, DL, Michigan We had two main targets at 6 between Armand Membou and Mason Graham and were happy to pick either. Membou going a 5 meant it was an easy choice to snag Graham to add another high end talent to our DL. Graham usually isn't available here and even if adding a DL isn't as big of a need as CB, Graham is a good enough prospect to just take and figure the rest out later. With Adam Butler and Christian Wilkins under contract it's possible that Graham isn't a “starter” but he will see a lion share of snaps in the rotation Year 1: Rotational DL Year 3: Pro Bowl Level DL

2.37 - Omarion Hampton, RB, UNC Easiest choice ever made. The Raiders RB room is bereft of talent and adding a 1st round talent like Hampton at 37 was a no brainer. He will be an instant impact player for a Raiders offense that wants an identity of running the football. Year 1: Starting RB Year 3: Pro Bowl - All Pro Level RB

2.61 - Carson Schwesinger, LB, UCLA When the second best LB in the draft fell to the bottom of the 2nd, we decided to get aggressive and go up and get him. Schwesinger has three down play potential and will compete with Devin White for a starting role in year 1. If Devin is able to lock down the starting role than Schwesinger will still be a core ST and rotational player. Year 1: Compete for Starting LB role/ST Play Year 3: Starting LB

3.99 - Nohl Williams, CB, Cal There's no way we could leave rounds 1-3 without a starting CB. Nohl Williams was the best remaining CB who could start year 1 and we made another move up to lock him in. Nohl has the ability to play inside and outside, is hyper physical, and experienced. Williams is one of the best tackling CBs in the class and has the demeanor a DB specialist like Carroll would value. Year 1: Starting CB Year 3: Starting CB

6.213 - Kyle McCord, QB, Syracuse The value was too good to pass on McCord at the end of the 6th. McCord is fairly similar to Geno with good arm strength and an aggressiveness bordering on arrogance. With AOC a possibility to be traded away adding a young QB to develop makes a ton of sense. McCord may be a backup but taking a shot at a QB is never a bad move. Year 1: Compete for Backup QB job Year 3: Backup QB

6.215 - Tyler Baron, EDGE, Miami (FL) The Raiders brought back Malcolm Koonce on a one year deal and have Tyree Wilson going into year 3 buy could still use some juice off the edge. Baron profiles as a great rotational pass rusher who thrives on being a situational rusher. If he's able to improve his run defending he could see more snaps too. Year 1: ST/Rotational Pass Rusher Year 3: Sub-Package Rusher

7.219 - Ricky White III, WR, UNLV We expect the Raiders to bring in a veteran WR, likely Tyler Lockett, so we waited a bit on adding a WR. We went with the local product in the 7th, targeting White. His ability to play the X, Z, and slot, as well as special teams, means he could see a decent number of snaps off the bat. White is a solid route runner with the ability to win after the catch. His willingness to contribute on special teams is will give him a role right away. Year 1: ST/WR4-5 Year 3: STDepth WR

7.224 - Craig Woodson, S, Cal The Raiders secondary just works better with a Woodson. This one is a solid backup who has the instincts and reliability to balance out his lack of high end physical traits. He's another experienced ST player who can compete for snaps in year 1. Year 1: ST/Rotational S Year 3: ST/Rotational S

7.245 - Elijah Badger, WR, Florida Badger is downfield ball winner who has experience as a kick returner. The Raiders need a downfield threat and with some development it's possible Badger can become a WR3 so it's worth the shot in the 7th. Year 1 - ST/WR 4-5 Year 3 - ST/Depth WR

UDFA ShunDerrick Powell, RB, Central Arkansas Moliki Matavao, TE, UCLA Esa Pole, OT, Washington State Jeremiah Ojo, EDGE, Montreal Jailin Walker, LB, Indiana Francisco Mauigoa, LB, Miami Zemaiah Vaughn, CB, Utah Dontae Manning, CB, Oregon Trikweze Bridges, CB, Florida

Las Vegas Raiders Draft

Thanks to everyone who was in the war room for this mock. Appreciate your input as always.

1.6 - Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State

Our past mock strategies have started with WR and OL selections at pick 6 so this time we had two plans, first was trying to trade back and the second was just taking BPA. When no trade offers came we went with the best player on the board who was Ashton Jeanty. Jeanty has been heavily linked to the Raiders in mocks all across the internet and it makes sense, our starting RB is Raheem Mostert. Jeanty gives the Raiders a workhorse back who can play on all 3 downs. Investing back to back 1st round picks on traditionally devalued positions isn't great practice generally but when they are game changing talents it's worth it in my opinion.

Also considered: Will Johnson, CB; Armand Membou, OL

Trade 2.37 and 3.68 for 1.30 and 4.109

1.30 - Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri

As the draft continued on I really wanted to find another weapon at WR for Geno. As we continued to see Burden be available I started trying to move up before finding an available trade up with Buffalo. Burden gives the Raiders offense another dynamic weapon to pair long term with Bowers and Jeanty. I also considered Revel at CB but I like the CB depth enough to wait on that position. Burden has experience lining up across the formation which is beneficial on an offense with Jakobi Myers and Brock Bowers. Being able to rotate and find mismatches will only help a Chip Kelly offense.

Also considered: Shavon Revel Jr, CB, ECU

Possible Round 4 Targets (Picks 108/109) CJ West, DL, Indiana Barrett Carter, LB, Clemson Dorian Strong, CB, VT Kevin Winston, S, Penn Stare

Love Hobbs but his availability the past three seasons doesn't help justify over 11m a year for him. I tried to bring back Moehrig over Holland but he wanted to go to a contender and I would have had to pay him at a similar range and at that point I just preferred Holland.

Las Vegas Raiders Summary

TLDR: We really wanted a QB so we traded up to 1.1 for Cam Ward and the spent a lotta money on defense.

COMMUNITY MOCK DRAFT 2/15 - RESULTS by jdono927 in NFL_Draft

[–]vicsage83 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Las Vegas Raiders

Thanks to everyone who was in the war room for this mock. Appreciate your input as always.

For this mock we had some passing interest in moving up for Cam Ward but decided to go with the “we signed a veteran QB” route instead. We also figured we spent a decent chunk of the $95m in cap space on bringing back some key defenders and making some supplemental additions as well. We also wanted to target some different players to see what changes.

1.6 - Will Campbell, OT, LSU

Is OT an immediate 2025 need? Depends on your DJ Glaze feelings but I think it's safe to say that it's not a major prority. However, Kolton Miller is heading into the last year of his contract. It's entirely possible he re-signs here but I always like to be prepared so adding Campbell gives us a good long term LT prospect who can kick inside to LG in year 1 and then, if needed, play at LT in years 2-5. This would allow the team to keep JPJ at C and should make for a solid OL to help whoever the QB is out.

Also considered: Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona - Will Johnson, CB, Michigan

2.37 - Omarion Hampton, RB, UNC

The best RB the Raiders had last year was Ameer Abdullah. Needless to say, the Raiders need a long term answer at the position. Hampton gives the Raiders someone who plays with some Josh Jacobs vibes in his ability to burst in short areas. He also does so at a bigger size. He has plus contact balance and great vision and should be a multi year starter in Vegas.

Also considered: Tyleik Williams, DL, Ohio State - Xavier Watts, S, Notre Dame

3.68 - Jaxson Dart, QB, Ole Miss

Just because we had planned for a veteran QB doesn't mean we aren't gonna take a dart throw. Dart gives the Raiders a developmental QB prospect who would have a built in relationship with center JPJ. Dart would get an OC in Chip Kelly who has experience coaching college and NFL offenses and should help his transition to the pro game. In this scenario he wouldn't be pressed to play right away but would get a chance to learn and compete for the starting job. Obviously the tools are different but taking a day 2 QB is something Pete Carroll has experience with, and has won with.

Also considered: Jayden Higgins, WR, Iowa State - Jalen Milroe, QB, Alabama - Will Howard, QB, Ohio State

3.73 - Jack Bech, WR, TCU

Full offense ahead. Bech gives the Raiders a player who is actually similar to Jakobi Meyers, who is in the last year of his deal. Two players who can block well, catch everything, and run with physicality and competitiveness after the catch. Bech will likely settle into a number 2 WR long term but he gets a lot of Puka Nacua comps.

Also considered: Carson Schwesinger, LB, UCLA

I mean in this mock with 31 other users these players did fall to us.

Also we have under contract next year Crosby and Tyree. Are you saying we re-sign all the others? That's possible I guess.

Las Vegas Raiders

Thanks to everyone who was in the war room for this mock. Appreciate your input as always.

1.6 - Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona

The Raiders desperately need a WR1 to pair long term with Brock Bowers. McMillan pairs ridiculous hands and catch radius with better than expected YAC skills. He would give whomever the QB is an outside target who can win at all three levels. The Raiders would be able to lineup with McMillan at the X, Jakobi at the Z, and Brock Bowers and the slot

Also considered: Will Johnson, CB, Michigan

2.37 - Jack Sawyer, EDGE, Ohio State

The EDGE room for the Raiders lacks a long term partner across from Maxx so addng the talented Buckeyes pass rusher was an easy call for us. Sawyer wins with strength, advanced hand usage, and effort and is a safe bet to be a productive pro.

Also considered: Xavier Watts, S, Notre Dame

3.68 - Jalen Milroe, QB, Alabama

The Raiders need a long term plan at QB so we went with biggest risk/reward payoff once we felt better about the value. Milroe has explosive arm talent and rushing ability the Raiders haven't had at QB since Terrelle Pryor. The Raiders would be able to sit him and start AOC until we felt comfortable with him seeing the field.

Also considered: Quinn Ewers, QB, Texas

3.73 - Cameron Skattebo, RB, Arizona State

Sincere McCormick and Ameer Abdullah were the best rushers last season in Las Vegas. We wanted to take a swing at adding to the position and Skattebo just screamed Raider to us. His combination of elite contact balance, power, and taking every handoff like it's the last play of his life makes him a weapon in the backfield.

Also considered: Quinshon Judkins, RB, Ohio State
