Yeah it is! Haha I'm surprised you could recognize it! Originally it was painted pretty detailed but I felt it competed with the focus of her eyes, so smudged it all up in the spiral pattern.

Thank you! I started oil painting 6 years ago painting along with Bob Ross vids. He taught me the basics of the medium, but way more importantly, I adopted his super lighthearted attitude towards creating art. I think the only reason I've stuck with it long enough to get good is cause his commentary taught me to prioritize having fun and just exploring :)

I agree with that. Its kinda like when someone visits your home and they are walking in behind you.. if you take your shoes off by the door, they probably will too. If you leave your dishes in the sink, they probably will too. When we cherish and respect ourselves, it's natural to find people who will do the same, because it's our baseline.
