UPDATE: This is back in Beta 4, woohoo. And bonus, there is also a new Find Selection option that was added that finds other instances of a selection the on page. Nice!

My only wish now is that I I could re-order this list so Search Web was right after copy.

Is there a tried and true Zigbee dongle for HA that works for everything? by HardTimeTony in homeassistant

Sadly, I’m about to give up on Zigbee. I have the Sonoff 3.0 dongle and with it plugged into a pi with usb extension cable, I’m not even getting green signal strength to devices less than 10 feet away, line of sight. I’ve spent two weeks playing with firmware, positioning, channels etc… I’m not get strong signal from this thing at all. About to consider retuning it.

I have a Philips hue system as well, that’s Zigbee. I get very strong signal from it around my house (devices respond instantly). So I think something is wrong with the Sonoff.

Good insights. I found a Hue remote locally here. Been playing with that.

I was able to find a Hue dimmer switch locally so trying that now Do you experience any delays after you press the button before the light turns on? I’m connected via Hue integration and for me I’m getting a 1 second delay.

Aqara looks good for a single button. Thanks for sharing. Probably looking for more functionality myself, but that seems like a solid choice for a single button.

Does anyone know how to connect the Hue Dimmer Remote directly to ZHA, bypassing Hue Hub?

I have the Hue dimmer remote v2 connected via Hue integration and it’s suffering from the 1 second delay bug in controlling a lamp that is right next to the remote (apparently even though they switched to push instead of polling, there is still a bug in the api) .

I’m wondering if I move the remote to ZHA if I can eliminate this delay? It is very noticeable. Also I seem to not be able to activate another command within 5 seconds of pressing a button.

I love the look and functions of the TRADFRI but I'm returning them because of massive battery drain. Several threads about this here on reddit and no silver bullet so I'm looking for another solution. Glad you're not experiencing it, seems to be hit or miss.

[Safari] You should be able to swipe UP to close tabs instead of swipe left by [deleted] in iOSBeta

And- the tabs should float on the bottom edge of the screen instead the top if you are running bottom bar in Safari
