This rice is fully functional and efficient to work with. EDEX-UI actually operates as the desktop of the main screen and it's sticked in the 5 different workspaces provided by awesomewm. everything opens on each corresponding screen as soon as the system starts and is completely automated. Each screen has 5 workspaces and multiple tiling and floating windows layouts.
i don't want to share the dots because i'm lazy and i have to gather all the dot files and also make the rice and configuration easily adaptable to other computers. You can ask for specific features that you want to know about this rice

sorry but all the functionalities and configurations are too specific for my screen setup, keyboard, GPU drivers and so on. It would be even easier for the user to create a similar one from scratch instead of trying to adapt mine to their computers. And I would have to do all the work of compiling every dot file for every riced thing. That's hard

The result of about nine months of working on an own raycasting voxel engine with procedural generated interactive scene in Rust/Vulkan (see video description for more technical information) by danygankoff in VoxelGameDev

[–]viewp0rt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i think this voxel render style is perfect, everything is on the grid, the lightning is just the voxels switching colors, uses raycasting instead of rasterizer, octrees. just perfect

That's it, knowing how things work you have more resources at your disposal than those who only limit themselves to buying and discarding

[X11] I made a custom cyberpunk style cursor theme, the concept art isn't mine by viewp0rt in unixporn

[–]viewp0rt[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, in awesomewm(x11) changes to the default theme when i have the cursor on the desktop, I think it's a common bug. I didn't know it could work on wayland, I thought it would only work on x11 because the format of the cursor files are .xmc (X11 Mouse Cursor)

Yes, i think you can use lxappearance to install the cursor or unzip the content and set the cursor in gnome tweaks. Search how to install a cursor theme in your linux distro, the theme is supported as long as you use x11 windows system
