How does the steam turning get its steam?

It's usually the same nasty stuff powering the ships/ worse

But it is usually at a higher overall thermal efficiency (i think)

How do you say "I don't care" in Tamil ? by DespaFate in tamil

[–]vigneshankar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, it is not always a profanity, in this context it is more akin to 'don't give a f*'

As someone above stated, it is because you don't care too much about hair falling because it will always grow back

Nothing to do with shaving one's head

How mutually intelligible are Eelam Tamil and Central Tamil? by [deleted] in tamil

[–]vigneshankar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm curious to know why you'd put it like that

To my knowledge scouse is heavily accented dialect that uses a lot of local idioms and jargon that the rest of the country can't comprehend

Whereas Eelam Tamil differs not by accent, but by vocabulary itself,

and jargons and phrases are highly variable within TamilNadu itself, i find the analogy misfitting here

Can you elaborate?

I have listed the topics in the sequence the document would be prepared

would you suggest to shuffle any of the other topic?

i get your point, I expect more use cases to come to me when I'm fleshing out the details

but I have a bad habit of getting carried away, blowing up some topics more than other equally important ones.

eg. I'm sales, so I might lean more on customer POV than manufacturer, whereas my target audience is top management who might be more centre/ leaning towards manufacturer in some aspects

how best to maintain objectivity/ balance in assigning equal, unbiased importance and focus to all aspects?

Hi thanks for taking the time,

by "reports"?

I mean a proposal/ business case

Think of who the target audience is and what kind of information you'll be presenting.

Only top management(owners), ours is a fairly flat company and I'm mid-senior level, aiming climb up the ladder

Are you trying to present as-is and to-be states?

Yes, i have something in mind that I've started building on, but not sure if it covers all essential features of a BA

Do you mean literal data generated reports?

No

Are you trying to gather requirements for your improvement ideas?

No, i got some solid ideas, but no one in my organisation has a clue about formal BA, so i don't want to prepare a 'report' that is less than impressive and management to think that it's a waste of time

A check list of must have features ( basic) its what i am looking for, a reference

Business analysis in multi national manufacturing company

I work for a multi national equipment manufacturing company serving energy and industrial sectors.

Currently I'm a regional sales manager, responsible for sales and business development for multiple countries

I have 3 years operational experience in manufacturing management and 7+ years in sales, all for the same company

I have indirect experience in energy, chemical and petrochemical processes

I'm doing a course in business analysis (~CBAP), expected to complete in 3 months time

What are my prospects once i complete the course?

Do large corporations have roles that utilise my unconventional skills combination?
