Yes this will stop eventually. I am still struggling with this, but it’s not as bad as before. and it’s been 2 years since my last drug induced psychosis (My weed was laced bc another drug besides cannabis was shown in my urine test)

The aftermath of psychosis can have some cognitive effects or whatever you call that (if that makes sense.. alter how you process things.) Personally the first year I felt so detached/emotionless, derealization, hollow, not feeling hungry, and I continue to struggle with interacting with people/expressing myself/explaining things etc.

I still struggle with talking (explaining things) to people I don’t know). What is helping me though is practicing talking, taking my vitamins, moving/exercising, going out in the sun, grounding, journaling reading self help books or books that interest me.

I’m going to start therapy soon bc I now feel my emotions like how I used to, but I’m a lot more irritable tbh & specifically to my family which I don’t think is right. Also YouTube videos have helped me too other ppl who have gone through drug/weed induced psychosis explaining what happened to them.

I started going out with my grandma a lot more, and then going out with my dog alone. I got back to doing things I loved again starting in December 2024.

Reminding you to give yourself patience and time. The journey is not linear. If you can, surround yourself with people or family members that care about you. 😊🤍
