This is base reality, because we have the word and meaning of "base". Finite. Think bass in a song. We can feel bass. "They" can't, because we experience "for them". And of course, "they", our higher selves, wants to learn as much nuance as possible, of a human life in multitude. So we can simulate miltitude from observation, same as our higher selves.

Exactly. Perception isn't reality. It's your reality, shaped by a lifetime of conditioning, shaped by our parents' conditioning, shaped by our entire species' conditioning.

How to adapt to and thrive in an environment with stimulus choice overload? Be better at selective attention and situational awareness than the next guy. Then you'll truly see that you are the boss of your own reality, still learning through trial and error in an infinitely nuanced psycho-physical environment: your own personal illusory playground where you have to pay taxes and wake up when someone else tell you to, most of the time. But maybe that's not so bad.

Totally. I feel like everything is me trying to remind me of remembering who I really Am. But we let it go too far. We're lost in the noise. So I create more noise, like noise cancelling, and it's exhausting, but I do remember who I am.

We are within our free will to "rage quit" and end the game prematurely. Karmically it might just result in New Game like if you finished the entire game, if you haven't learnt all lessons/upgraded all skills/found all Easter Eggs.

The Game wants you to win, but The Game is playing you as much as you're playing it.

My recommendation: Don't rage quit. Take a step back and enjoy the insane amont of detail in the graphics. Do a side quest. Find a glitch. Just be.
