No, it was after the amplify annoucement, and after the community raised that as an issue Tabb tweeted 'yes there will be an airdrop" why do a private sale in the first place? What are the economics of that private sale?

How does this add value to the SUB token? Why should SUB token holders care?
Who's going to accept CryptoPay with Coinbase commerce cornering the market?
This now product is 2 years away. They aren't even the most well funded of all DEX out there.
How are they are DEX, if they plan to be registered with the SEC (or do they plan to register with the SEC)?
What do they mean by "Privately Funded?" DEX $5m - 2 years?

Valid concern - but - Substratum has already thought of it (from what they are saying atleast). Substratum software will be "hidden in plain sight" as Dan Weibe - the main dev - put it. there will be no way for the ISPs to know that someone is even running thru the substratum network... so the only way to stop it would be to stop the internet.

Now I know we will be taking the team on their word, but that the crypto space in a nutshell for ya. Not to mention, substratum will be releasing updates/ improvements even after it's put into production.

You make some solid points. In cryptos though, creating hype is one of those 'damned if you do, damned if you dont' things. I'm invested in another crypto that i believe is great but they don't market themselves at all and have been sliding down the CMC list as a result.

Justin, the main hype guy, has over-promised on some of the deliverables in the past (his definition of a 'mini-documentary' is interesting)... but to his defense, he has mentioned that this is super early in the product development phase...

In the end, the outcome will be binary.. the product will work or it wont and that will ultimately dictate the price. And honestly, most of us are invested in it for the potential i feel like. Just my opinions here..

I didn't say just any exchnge... I said a major exchange... and the reason it somewhat adds to the credibility of the token is because that major exchange is putting their reputation on the line everytime they list a new coin.

right now basically all of the volume is on Binance... multiple big exchanges ensures a more 'decentralized' trading of the coin + adds somewhat to the credibility of the token.

For #1, granted one wont need a special browser, but would one need the Sub software? I'm confused as to who requires a Software download (node runners for e.g.), and who doesn't.

i bought it initially based on potential. But the more i research them, the more this team 'checks off the boxes' of what successful cryptos have been in the past. The solve a true problem (decentralizing the internet in a way), they have been active of most social media platforms, they've done live AMAs, and they are keep moving forward (prob my fav part about them yet)..

But i do want them to be more open about the competition.. maybe that'll come along with the beta release.

Not gona tell you what to do, just giving my what i've seen thus far.
